Alright, I'm not sure about the rest of you but when I saw that clans were a part of destiny, I envisioned me and my friends meeting up and doing [b]Clan Challenges[/b] or competing in [b]Clan Tournaments[/b] to try and obtain special [b]Clan Gear. [/b] Do you see a pattern? So far in Destiny the only real reason to be in a clan is to get trophy/achievements or get a quick group going for raids, strikes, or other fun stuffs that require groups. Is that really all Bungie intended to do with clans? I like to think they have something planned for the future, but seeing as there's nothing so far, I'd like to put a few suggestions out there: [b]Clan Challenges:[/b] This would be a simple thing to do and would make being in a clan a little more rewarding. Maybe place special bounties up at the Bounty Tracker (because we're ALL a little sick of seeing the same old thing) that would benefit clan teamwork. Things like "Complete so-and-so mission on hard with a full clan fireteam" or "Obtain 25 clan kill assists" or even "Win 5 games as a clan" would be cool tasks to try and complete as a clan. [b]Clan Tournaments:[/b] This would be a little more challenging than a few simple bounties. A ranking system where you could view your clan's place in the crucible would be an epic edition to competitive multiplayer! There could even be tournaments every once in a while that yielded legendary drops such as engrams or ascendant materials to clans who push to be top pack. [b]Clan Items:[/b] Okay hear me out on this one. I myself (as well as a number of my friends) have found they have an overabundance of Ascendant Energy. Now I understand most people probably spend it as soon as they can on their fancy weapons, but what if you could do something else with it? What if you could go on the Bungie website and choose to pool your resources into a special Clan Vault? (Non-refundable of course) You could then use said materials to fashion your clan a weapon or piece of armor that would be unique to your Clan! Changing the color, look, and even the emblem on any item would be cool! (By the way why don't we have clan emblems?) Maybe you could even customize the armor traits/weapon perks to yield amazing bonuses (for a fair amount of ascendant materials) that would better suit the different style of play your clanmates might have! All I'm saying is that, to me and my clanmates at least, the clan support system seems a little lacking (or maybe just non existent) and could use some beefing up.
