Worst way to die in Destiny?
Which one? Mine is the last one.

My fave is jumping on the fallen ships on Venus and then riding them up till it hits the sky dome and you either get thrown miles across Venus or your dead body gets stuck up in the sky. Love to see someone try and res me from there lol.

Throwing a trip grenade just to have the enemy shoot it in mid air causing it to explode in your face killing you and your team mate on the last boss of a strike....yeah that happened.

Shoulder charging the red containers that explode when trying to complete a strike without dying.

Mine would either be getting killed by an opening door on strike on mars or a phalanx sheil bashing me half way across the map into a rock saying died from misadventure

While doing the archon priest nightfall we killed the Hydra in the end, but were to close when running by and we all 3 got wiped when it exploded. We got lucky tho, my friend was a SS lock and able to self res. If not for that id of been so mad at myself.

3 RepliesIn the cosmodrome, even tho after 1000 runs etc, I still follow the dam road (practically where you spawn in patrol) that takes you over the cliff! Lol always realise that half a second to late...

Mine would have been recently. I was doing Patrol on Earth, also working on the 100 kills without dying. I was almost done, with maybe around 10 left. Sky goes dark, I think to myself "Great! another of my bounties can be worked on". Then the thing dropped on my head and killed me. Had to start from the beginning of that bounty. I've had many different ways though. Someone walking in front of my rocket. There was also a time where I have to get 9K EXP without dying. This was fine, but then something would end up killing me around the 8k mark. This happened a few times during the day until I finally complete it.

2 RepliesGonna have to go with a custom one personally. Well... I guess it's more my favorite way to die. It's a quaint little bug in the game. If a phalanx swings his shield at you and you get caught between him and the shield as he brings it back to his body, your character will get squeezed and then basically "super bounce" straight backwards at light speed, smash into a wall and die. I've had this happen at least four times in recent memory. It's hilarious.

Setting your team up to kill the templar as the relic holder on the old cheese spot, as soon as you spec, you release you didn't press LB all the way and you go into a slam animation knocking off 3 teammates from the platform.

Getting hit by the flying cannnon from a Walker after you kill one, its happened like 5 times, i swear that hunk of metal just homes in on me.

3 RepliesThrow trip mine at Minotaur during hard raid. Minotaur proceeds to teleport towards you. Grenade is now a metre from your face. Kaboom.

Jumping off the Bridge outside the Cosmodrome in the beginning after Dinkelbot says you're going to die out there. So you prove him right. Running into the trip mines later on in that same mission to test if they actually work. Oh wait, both of those are funny. I went with Nightfall team wipe, especially if it happens at the boss. Had that experience unfortunately.

1 ReplyWhen I throw a tripmine onto an enemies head, and then they feel the sudden urge to turn into Usain Bolt, Sprint at me, then blow me up. That's the sole reason why I have stopped using that grenade!

fireing a rocket and someone or a freaken shank just happens to get in your way killing you instantly always gets me mad. its also the last time I use rocket launchers on the 1st boss of VoG. I always get the freaken shield put on me everytime my buddie takes down his shield. first time attempting the raid I always get myself killed cuz I always blow myself up.

2 RepliesProbably the rockets is most common, for me. This doesn't make the list because I'm not sure what happened and it only happened once. I was playing pvp at the firebase. Left the bunker where control point C was, and started running past a door under B. Changed my mind and started to go in it, but the door shut on, and killed, me. Said killed by the architects and misadventure, with no one highlighted, or damage type listed. I'm convinced the door killed me.
