EDIT2: There's a common hatred of Engram farming in Destiny. It's a lot like Marmite, people love it or hate it.
Farm engrams has absolutely no impact on your game what so ever, I understand the arguments for both sides. It's a way to play! People say they prefer strikes like the vanguard tiger strike, but others may find that incredibly boring and you have to concentrate too much, those who prefer farming mainly do it because it's very afkable And it's done at your own speed. Maybe you do it between waiting for friends or something.
I posted it for the simple fact that people who enjoy farming engrams can do this until it's patched. People call it a 'bug' or whatever. Okay, then I've just made a bug visible to be patched?
I've also posted it because well.. Seeing people get mad over nothing is fun xD
Enjoy The Game dude, sure it has its faults, but we're all still playing it.

For the time you're taking you may as well do some bounties, do some patrol missions and level your faction. That way you'll get legendaries in the post. It''ll be a lot quicker, and you can get multiple legendaries in the post while also actually playing missions and having fun. Trust me, I farmed the hell out of the loot cave, but it just isn't viable anymore.... When they revised the Cryptarch and the drop rates, farming became virtually pointless. Level your faction and you'll get legendaries. Farming is a waste of time.
