My answer is no and for the following reason, I know "hardcore gamers" will call me a noob and say "you're just saying that because you suck". I am and have been an avid gamer since the NES and I love a good challenge but this particular HOT FIX is horrible, I'm glad Bungie wants everyone to be able to perform every roll but in reality not everyone is a sharpshooter just like not everyone is great at close quarters. Being able to assign roles lets the team: 1- gear accordingly And 2 - play on the strengths of each teammate. The hot fix removes this because now THERE WILL BE A SET BUILD(which I thought BUNGIE was against) to face atheon, no personalized choices because you NEED to be ready for those oracles so everyone will sport their strongest AR and rocket launcher. I am the relic holder in my group but until that part I like to rock a hand cannon. Now I need to always equip my raid elemental weapon like eeeeveryone else because I may be going into the portal instead of doing the fight the way I enjoy doing it. Just my opinion. EDIT: not just about me wanting to use my hand cannon lol Also it will be tougher for people who have never done VoG to get a group that won't boot them, insult them or just have 0 patience with them after so many deaths or mistakes you know?
