For a while now my friends and I have been talking about this. And the more we do the more we like the idea of being able to purchase single use ELEMENTAL synthesis that would effectively add "xyz" element to any weapon in ur inventory for a short period of time and would finally make that one weapon that just doesnt cut it for the specific task at hand we all have sitting in our weapon slot a bit more usefull from time to time. Or, add them to game but make them exotic drops. Making them extremely rare. We think it should cost more to add to each weapon in ascending order of rarity. Blues being the cheapest. And exotics and raid weapons the most expensive. Also this would add another glimmer sink. Or coin sink. Or mote sink. Or considering the fact that it could be game changing. Maybe it would cost all three. What ever the cost we don't think it should be cheap because of the fact it could be game, raid, pvp, pve changing. We shouldn't be able to stack elemental. Only replace for the effective time of the synthesis. Also we dont think u should be able to have more than one of each at any given time and make the cool down for each strike and or raid in length essentially stopping u from spamming them. A great example of this would be a night fall that u just can't get past. And are willing to drop 3 coins, 2 motes, and 10k glimmer (or similar combination) to swap out solar on ur ice breaker for void for 5 to 10 minutes. Adding to a blue should be significantly less.exotic
