Does anyone else feel that the Defender subclass is just not viable for PVP content? In it's current state, I've gotten way more deaths in my bubble than kills. First, you get your bubble, then you wait for everyone else to use their super. Because if even ONE person has their super, you're screwed. Titan Striker smash = Defender dead in the bubble. Hunter Golden Gun = Defender's bubble popped and then Defender annihilated by the Hunter's last 2 shots. Hunter Bladedancer = Defender dead in the bubble. Warlock Void Bomb = Bubble popped, and Defender most likely dead from Void Vortex effect (If the warlock has that perk, if not, the bubble still popped, and overshields or not, you still feel like you wasted a super :c ) Sunsinger Super = One of a few things. Sunsinger is the only one that doesn't particularly have an advantage at first sight, but then you look closer and... They can die and then resurrect inside your bubble if they have that perk, with more health, plus the flame shield for punching you once = You're at a disadvantage. Also with their flame melee they can send you FLYING out of your bubble. Sunsinger is the only one of those classes that doesn't exactly pop a Defender's bubble, but still has a slight advantage. If you're really lucky and no one has a super, and no one's camping in the corner behind you, and no one takes you off guard, you can get a nice little spree going inside the bubble. But I've only had that ever happen once out of the many times I've used it. For PVE, yeah this class is great, but for PVP this class really needs some work.
