Can someone please explain why it is still hard to level up in destiny?. Stuck on level 24/25 but no matter how many strikes, crucible games I play all I get are the blue engrams, no purple. And why is it that I have spent all of this time to get stronger, have more powerfill weapons, armor and still get killed by a player who is half my rank and shouldn't be able to take me out easily can do so with one or two shots while I pour clip fills of rounds into them with out success?. Isn't the incentive to level up and be stronger is dying at the hands of stronger players?. People just below, at, or above my level should be a challenge but people significantly below my level should be fodder. I look at games like books and a good story makes a good book. It's the same with video games. Challenges are great, but not when the opportunity to level up is given in inches and the goal is miles away. It should be more balanced.
