reminder that bungie lied
E3 2k13 never forget
Let's take time to look through the trailer and pick out the lies and content that was cut
2:20- "all of this is playable space" "we could go there now"
3:23- ship flies in from orbit, dropping off player rather then just spawning in the designated spot
7:42- bosses drop loot
8:25- guns have actual talent trees
10:15- skybox gets changed by incoming ships
12:30- beginning of trailer showing a bunch of the cut story

2 RepliesA lot of people seem to gave the rose tinted goggles still going for them [b]E3 [/b]Destiny is like a really hot chick you picked up. She is vibrant and full of energy. Your pretty sure your getting laid. Everything is the definition of perfect. [b]Finished product[/b]Then you get her back to your place. Turns out she had a push up bra and a girdle on. Nothing is quite as good as it looked before you took her home. Yet you go at it anyway because it's not THAT bad. Then you realize all that energy is gone. There is no excitement in the act and you find yourself becoming bored with what should be amazing. So some people left disappointed and carry on. Then there are those of us who didn't use protection and dove right in there impatiently and bought the expansion pass... [i]I actually still like the game, just could've been better. I don't see it lasting as long as they say it will.[/i]

They wanted the game to turn out a certain way, but like most games that aren't developed using magic, what is planned and what is practical are two different things. Maybe many of you are too young to remember the Halo 2 E3 reveal where nothing in that playable demo was in the actual game.

4 RepliesThere's not that big of a difference, the weapon trees are still the same. The looks changed a little, not the perks. It didn't live up to the hype off launch; I agree, but the potential is there. To all the winers, If you're that disgruntled... STFU and stop playing! Go play something else. Bungie will make it all good for those loyal. just wait.

Doesn't make any sense to me I know if I bought a game I didn't like I wouldn't keep playing it and I sure in the hell wouldn't troll the forums on the destiny app. Thanks for a good laugh children!

I used to want to defend bungie but after the patch last Tuesday I've lost almost all hope. Granted the game is good and fun but if they keep nerfing shit that people are complaining about all weapons will be the same. And vog should've been left as is. from all the people that play destiny less the 10% have actually beaten the raid but bungie your gonna make it harder, vast majority of people can't even beat it without the so called "fixes". My raid team has no trouble beating raid on normal but we've tried hard twice after patch and we cannot all survive long enough to make it to oracle part. Gay.

5 RepliesI don't understand why we are blaming Bungie for this sorta thing. If there were cuts made I'm almost certain it was activations call. Why do I think that? Because that's what publishers do. Talk to anyone working in the industry and they can tell you just how bad big publishing companies are. They constantly make changes to developers games because" that's what sells" then when a game flops they throw their meat-shield developers under the bus and say" well its THEIR game" (if they say anything at all) What most likely happened was Activ. Came to Bungie and was like "hey, we are gonna need you to chop that game up so we can stretch this marketing campaign few a few months. "

1 ReplyTo be fair, Activision set bungie a sudden deadline, which forced them to cut unfinished story and release it as dlc later when it was finished, and additionally alter the current story so it had something we could play at least.

4 Replies'twas all Activisions fault. Bungie held true with the things they said. Activision set sudden deadlines and gave Bungie no time to do anything they wanted. That's the reason why the game has problems. If bungie had been given the time that the deserved they would have made things better. The didnt lie. Im sick of the people that day they did hen in reality the things you people complain about are things that are actually in the friggan game! Children. Everyone children.
