      • Everyone in here that has a problem with the random teleport are whiners. It's hard mode, it should be hard. Everyone should know how to do each role and be able to fill in. When someone dies does everyone just wipe? Likely no, the rest pick up the slack. Normal mode is for everyone, hard mode is for people that want to put in the effort and achieve what is supposed to be very difficult. Notice they didn't do this for normal mode because they know not everyone is that skilled. I like the exclusivity of it being hard. And honestly, if you aren't doing different things in the raid, you are missing out on other ways to have fun in the raid.

        • The thing that will be bad is, since each group has 0 clue as to who goes into the portal, team chat will devolve into, "ah shit, ok I'm in, I'm in, who's in here with me?!" **player B twirls around finding teammates while at same time.... player A and F proclaim** "ok shit, we're in, we're in!! Who wants relic who is grabbing relic?!" **player B** "-blam!--- ok I got it!! Someone get oracles quick! Someone... shit we're on venus- venus!! Someone get oracles and someone help me on minotaur!" **succumbed to oracles (or minotaur kill)** "-blam!-" **respawn and repeat but this time players A, C and F go in -- repeat confusion-- and repeat...** :)

          • Actually, this requires massive amounts of preparation for the raid. It means you get yourself and your other team members experience on each role of the Atheon encounter. Deej gave several days warning before this, if raid groups didn't spend the weekend in VoG while they still had control over the ported individuals, to make sure each person had at least 1 turn of exposure, then those teams did themselves a disservice. Regardless, the first time each team goes into the VoG after the patch, assuming the above wasn't done... just be ok with wiping a few times. When you're in the portal, learn the relic. Stay in there. Drop the relic, let another pick it up. Let them see how the controls work. Do this and continue wiping if needed, I can't imagine after 3 or 4 ports that you shouldnt have at least ONE member in the portal that can work the relic. Killing oracles is easy. On venus they spawn top middle, bottom of stairs right then left, middle of area right then left, then top of exiting stairwell right then left. On Mars, its the same but it goes left then right. I might have that left right order in reverse, but either way its top of stairs, bottom of stairs, middle near exiting stairs, top of exiting stairs. As for sync plates well, if you don't know how to work these then you wouldn't be in VoG to begin with. People are making way too big a deal out of this.

          • I completely agree, but the sad thing is that this "fix" would actually be a pretty good mechanic if they went one step further. If they added a "marked by atheon" or "marked by time" for the three guys going in at the end of times vengence then at least the people would have 5-10 seconds to figure out who is picking up the relic. That simple addition would make all the difference between moving the goal posts because -blam!- you, and adding a layer of complexity to the raid mechanics.
