AI is of incredibly poor design

You have 4 races that you make us fight, lore wise they seem to be VASTLY different, and yet they all act the EXACT SAME WAY. I got shot a little bit? OOH I BETTER RUN FOR MILES! My shield's back? Ok, time to pew pew those pesky guardians AAAARRGGHH MY SHIELD IS DEAD AGAIN! It's just infuriating. since if they hide for JUST long enough, they get full shielding back. This is how every fight with every shielded enemy goes. There's no variation, no colour, no flavour, nothing. The only difference between shielded and non-shielded enemies is the time it takes to eventually whittle them down. Isn't this an FPSRPG not an MMORPG? You have 4 factions and didn't even give them all a unique challenge. Hell, the only difference is the fact that you shoot the Vex in the stomach instead of the face. Why not give the factions their own combat personality? Fallen - The evil mercenaries who are scared to fight...They're agile, fast, and according to the wiki "They travel modestly, attack swiftly, and disappear after engagement almost instantly." Since they're mercenaries they're probably not the largest in numbers. Why aren't they using guerilla tactics to fight guardians? They feel like they'd be the Eldar from Warhammer. Hive - You called an army Hive, made them undead robots, even made their transports giant coffins and yet they're like the Necrons retarded cousin. Why not have them sometimes reanimate? Or better yet, if they're a hoard of undead things, why don't they bumrush you? They're practically the Zerg swarm except they hide behind things all day. Vex - A collective of minds all linked together magically. Why is it that 3/4 keep patrolling whole 1/4 is in combat? why don't they all teleport and circle in on the hostile forces? Or they could use their teleportation for hit n run, like dashing into guardians to try and throw their aim off so other Vex can get solid hits in. Imagine the Alien charging you down and running over as another jumped on you! Cabal - An army who allegedly burn planets for being in the way, are bulky beyond belief (in physical appearance anyway) and yet they are infact the most scared of being shot. Why not make them flank aggressively instead? Or for kicks, have them use their massive hulking stature to utilize gorilla warfare on enemies. Gigantic armoured monstrosities lunging at people is a terrifying sight. How about instead of being scared, they make the Guardians start crapping their pants. This game can be great. But the AI needs a massive overhaul. If the only 'trick' the AI have is hide as soon as their shields drop a little bit, then the AI needs fixing. It's poor combat design. You can't claim that it's to make the AI more human because people rarely do that in Crucible. Or any of the other shooters out there. If they're supposed to act like humans, why don't the ones with explosives camp corners to hit blind spots? Why aren't the snipers leading targets and working together to bait hostile movement? The AI currently acts like 99% of the enemies in Ocarina of Time. Now before all the OoT fans flame me, just think about all those fights in that game. How many did you have to hit, wait wait wait wait, repeat. There was no difficulty, just an illusion of difficulty by stalling combat. PvP is fun because you don't know what to expect, all the players tactics and methods are so different. Some go gungho, some hide in corners, some dive from the sky and murder you, but its always something interesting. PvP unfortunately isn't for all of us, some of us (myself included) dislike the Crucible a huge amount. I only enter it when I get bounties for capturing, playing, or winning matches since statistically those will eventually happen. PvE needs flavour. Buff the AI, make getting the loot that much more of a fight aside from just putting the health bar to 10 million. And if you're having trouble designing SkyNet levels of AI, why not send Uber Entertainment an email? There's no shame in it, and Sorian made an AI mod for Supreme Commander and the AI neural net for Planetary Annihilation and his AI design is kinda scary.
