In ut2k4 (and prior installments), there was a multiplayer mode called Assault. I had the most fun playing Assault than any other multiplayer mode in any other game. I encourage anyone interested to go to YouTube and search for something like "ut2k4 assault" and watch a couple of them. For those with less time, I will briefly explain the concept. There is an offensive team and defensive team. The offensive team is given one objective to complete at a time, with the next being presented when the prior one is completed. The defensive team has to prevent the offensive team from completing the objective. What made this so much fun was the creative design of bases and objectives. When the offensive team either wins or loses, the teams switch roles and the match is played again. YouTube will do more justice than I can ever depict in words. Destiny has all of the components to make this work. The only thing I don't know is if the developers/publishers of UT have some sort of intellectual property/rights hold on this type of multiplayer which may be why I've never seen it again. Even ut2k7 did not have an Assault mode. Anyway, that's something I would like to see.
