How do I get a refund from Bungie?

I really enjoy the game from what I did play of it, but I constantly get errors that kick me out. The retailer wont take the game back their policy is to exchange defective discs. The disc is fine, it is the online portion that is broke. I understand they are working on the issue, but I have such a sour taste in my mouth from this that I don't even want to play it anymore. I am a busy person who only has limited time to play a game. So when I have the time I would like to be able to play. It would be ridiculous if they wouldn't give refunds for a defect that is obviously on their end. If I bought a vacuum cleaner and it worked intermittently like this game does, I would take it back for one that works with no issues from sales staff. Bungie really should have worked out the kinks before releasing this game/patch.

  • Bungie doesn't handle refunds, they have no record of your transaction. If you wish to return your game, you have to work out that between you and your retailer's policies.

    • It's unlikely that the problem is with bungie. Have you tried resetting your licenses with PSN?

TBH, sever and connectivity issues plague most online games from the get-go. GTAV online was hardly playable day one, most every MMO has issues day one. It's really to be expected at this point. I understand it's frustrating but you have to appreciate the technical aspect of the online gaming industry. No developer can test the servers and all online content at full capacity before release. It takes a little time to work out the kinks. On top of that, Destiny is dependant on PSN servers to remain at peak as well. Given the way it works behind the scenes, it's unrealistic to expect any online game to work flawlessly right our of the box, especially those with any MMO leanings.
