Voidwalker, the new bladedancer

I just watched a hefty 4 hour session of gaming where my brother was showing me the ins and outs of the voidwalker way.. and I must say, they are the most powerful class in the game. They get the Titan Defenders overshield, except they don't have to kill someone to get it, just injure them. They get the Hunters seeker grenades, except their's seeks aggressively like the Truth rocket launcher.. and they have an agility modifier that increases it's range. This grenade can turn corners and will seek people for over 5 seconds.. They get a melee as powerful as the Titans, except their's has range. They get a super as powerful as the Titans, except their's has range. They get blink, and with an exotic chest piece their axion bolts get two seekers.. Their melee, while as powerful as the Titans, also drains energy from enemies and puts that energy towards cooling down their grenade.. The biggest thing though: their melee range, and how that effects PvP after the shotgun nerf.. They can now shotgun you and before you get close enough to one shot them with your shotgun they can melee you because of their melee's extreme range.

You just proved that warlocks are better than titans. Titans are the worst pvp class there is anyway so its not saying much. Bladedancer is still the best, followed by sunsinger/gunslinger and then striker/voidwalker

      • I know this old but Sunsingers get an over shield on melee hits, not Voidwalkers.

For clarification, the Sunsinger gets the shield and not the Voidwalker. Also the armor rating on said shield is 55, while the Titan's is 75 (this, coupled with the fact that having PvP relevant skills on renders it a little difficult to get a higher armor rating as a Sunsinger so only having to hit someone to get the shield feels a little more balanced.) Also, the Titan's shield is the basic melee upgrade, so you can have a shield in addition to other things. I know that the Sunsinger has burn DoT as it's basic melee which is good, yes. That being said though, knock back and a 4 meter (?) diameter explosion on kill are the other choices and personally I don't think I've ever used either one save for testing. I can concede the range though. I know Warlocks have 6m, Hunters have 4m (blink strike makes 6m and throwing knife has range as far out as you're good enough to hit people with it) and Titans have a 4m range. I don't know why they did that, but that's how it is.

Lol. Blade dance op? Yes if you try and 1v1 a blade dancer blade dancing (awkward) you will loose but guess what! You can kill them before hey get a single kill. Not only that Bds have to precharge their super. When I play my bloom lock, I super a flag point get multi kills, same with me Titan (striker? Forget the name'. Brawler?) and for some reason my titans super is up way more often (I did take int into account). So yea there's not one class that I have been able to prevent from getting kills other than blade dancer. Try jumping as the bd closes in, if you jump when they are close they do t just auto target you, you have to back up, the jump then melee to get at someone above you sice there is no vertical attack for blade dance just horizontal and diagonals

          • Except that void walker sucks ass in PVE because sunsinger has way more utility and Dps

          • Joke topic? Titan melee gives a shield, they have OHK shoulder charge or a shield they can add to their sprint to make them almost impossible to kill before they get in melee or super range. The Warlock is squishy, and often times will die before they can even get their super off. Axion bolt is pretty good for PVP, but everywhere else, it's subpar without Voidfang Vestiment. Voidwalker grenades are also pretty bad, an aoe DoT grenade that can be easily avoided, a cluster grenade in a very small area which is hardly any better than the DoT, and Axion Bolt which is worthless if the bolts spread out and dont all hit one target. They have some extra range on their melee attacks, but Titan gets OHK shoulder charge, Hunter gets blink strike or OHK throwing knife that can be used at a decent range. The only defense that Voidwalkers get, is Life Steal, a modifier that makes a killing blow with a charged melee give you full shields, nothing compared to the SUNSINGER melee which burns people and gives them a shield. Voidwalker compared to the other classes doesn't get much, they get an "okay" super, blink, and the ability to recharge their grenades a little faster, their shitty grenades that cant even OHK. On the other hand(s), Hunters get range, a good super (in both cases), OHK melees, double and triple jumps (which are easily more reliable than blink), OHK grenades, and Blade Dancer gets stealth capabilities. Titans get armor, defensive abilities, multiple shields they can get, a OHK melee, OHK grenades, a massive shield super that can change the tide of a fight with ease, or a massive AoE super that has a DoT or straight line shockwave, or both with the one exotic helmet, and ways to generate extra orbs. SUNSINGER, the go to warlock subclass for many (especially in PVP) has multiple ways of applying burn damage, OHK grenade, a melee that burn enemies and give the warlock a shield, a super that can give them incredibly low cds, extra armor, or even -blam!-ing revive them like a phoenix, and their seeker grenade can burn enemies with the right upgrade. Voidwalker can wave clear in PVE with their supers and grenades, but so can Sunsingers AND they can -blam!-ing revive themselves.

            • theyre no where near as OP as bladedancer with arcblade, or even at all for that matter. they are a good pvp class however. blink and useful nades are most helpful and yeah ive noticed the slight range on warlock "melee". the difference did seem a bit odd to me when i started my titan and hunter.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Novabomb as powerful as FoH? sure it's easy enough to get a few kills but its AoE is nothing against the FoH (I got a 29 titan and warlock)
