A lot of people have been wanting something along the lines of a low fire-rate, low-capacity sniper rifle that kills with a bodyshot in crucible. I’m here to tell you there IS such a weapon, and I’ve been using it for awhile now. All you need is to find a sniper rifle with the following traits: 1) High impact 2) 3-round magazine (not required, but lower is better) 3) Final Round perk You may have noticed that the high impact sniper rifles take down most of an enemy’s health with a body shot. Well with Final Round, your last round will do 33% bonus damage, which is enough to tip it over the top. So you simply take this gun and dump the first two rounds every time you reload it (think of it as part of your reloading process). Voila, a slow-reloading one-bullet-magazine sniper that kills with every shot. It burns through ammo fast, takes forever to reload, and is very unforgiving of misses. But it will kill if you hit. Now this combination of traits is pretty specific, so it’ll be tough to find one. Finding it on a blue or purple is probably like winning the lottery. However, you can get this combination on the Gozen-C easily and reliably. First, make an alt and play up to the first mission on the moon. This mission will reward you with a Dead Ghost, which you can turn in to the Speaker for a Speaker’s Writ. When you take that to the gunsmith, he offers you a choice of three reward guns, including the Gozen-C. The Gozen-C will have a random trait on it. If that trait is not Final Round, just cancel out. Every time the gunsmith restocks his inventory, that random trait will change too. If you just wait and check every few hours, you should get a Final Round version (which I like to call the Gozen-F) within a few days. Happy hunting!
