How is Raid Gear Better
My titan has legendary gauntlets maxed out and they give 27 light, I am told the gauntlets from the raid I earned go up to 30 light but it has the same number of defense upgrades as my regular legendary. I have them leveled up to the point just before needing shards and each defense upgrade has only given 2 light each. Do the last row of defense yield more light than usual? I have only 3 more defense upgrades on the raid gauntlets and still need 8 light. It's not adding up to me, when will I see the added light come in?

Light is the advantage. I have some raid gear as well as weapons, But, I rarely use them outside of special circumstances. 1. I like my gear to have the "intellect" stat. 2. the high level special perks are for the vault of glass (anti-vex, anti-oracle, anti-praetorian). Carrying more heavy ammo is cool though. They're above average items as far as legendaries go. Not a replacement for an exotic in the same slot though, other than for more Light.
