Crucible: A positive opinion on the recent nerf and ideas on where to go next.

First of all I will say I have around 40 hours in the crucible at this point. I got the mythoclast the day before the nerf and got a chance to use it before and after. I am a very competitive person and this post is just an opinion. To understand my opinion you will have to view crucible as competitive, not as a place to show off your level and gear. Let's leave that to the iron banner. A lot of people have been discussing the recent nerf as unfair or over the top. I personally believe that the nerf has created a much more competitive outlet for primary gun play. There is still work to be done but as of right now I believe that primaries are close to balanced. I have noticed more usage of scout rifles, less auto rifles, and around the same number of pulse rifles, which has gone up in ratio due to the drop in auto rifle usage and rise of scouts. Each gun's intended effective range is noticeable, a few autos are still able to do substantial amounts of damage at high ranges but if you have a good scout you can counter the ARs pretty easily. The steps bungie has taken to balance the crucible has been great so far. The next step in creating a competitive and balanced crucible would be to narrow the One-Shot outlets (specials, supers, heavies). For special and heavy weapons, this can easily be done by reducing the ammo dispersed among every player in the game. Perhaps make only one heavy ammo spawn in the middle of the map. Maybe have a 1-2 minute cooldown on special ammo spawns and only one player from each team could acquire the special ammo. For supers, either take them out of crucible or get rid of the recharging cooldown and make it based on score (kills+assists). A glowing effect on a guardian whom has his super could reduce the deaths by use of what I like to call "the panic button". This would alert players to be cautious of the other player. This game currently promotes camping, as one shots can happen from ANY direction. These changes may promote movement and controlling a position of the map. More coordination and reason to change location results in a more action packed crucible experience. I love the direction so far bungie, maybe take some of my feedback into account. The comments might have even better solutions. Please post your opinion on destiny's competitive direction. I look forward to reading your opinions.
