Well, I posted a reply to yet another "my vex mytho doesn't do nothing" and I've gotten positive feedback from this. Now, my solution? Black engrams and class items stricly for PvE and only found in hard mode strikes, nightfalls, ect. Upon completion. They can either be the "black version of the weapon you used to defeat the boss with or a varient of an equipt weapon. now its not guaranteed to get everytime. And once gotten you don't recieve again untill it's dismanteled for only weapon parts so no farming for ascendant. But it's the pve version of your weapon called black class. With raids dropping higher rarity black engrams which will in essence help out with pve. These weapons start minimum damage 400 upgrading to 520 (higher for snipers and rocket launchers) but here is the kicker..."black class" weapons? And possibly armour...cannot be taken into the crucible. For any reason unless the black class armour is added In which a seperate playlist will be added for black class item specifics. Where if you want to try your hand against a player with it go ahead but you were warned. Now into details, black class items same equipting as exotics only one per armour or weapon but...another kicker, light level 25 required for these extremly powerfuly items. And what this can do is open the "epic" difficulty for those who are tired of heroic. As well as expand the game for the level 30 maxed out...feedback welcome and please keep this going? If you enjoy the idea I love input on how to improve this idea :) cheers. Edit: also to keep players from only playing the black crucible the reward is only black class items at the end with no reputation or experiance gained. And like I said once you've obtained a black class item you cannot obtain the same one over again. So farming the black crucible for more weapons and armour would take hours upon hours and make it nearly not worth it for a method of farming these. As the post game reward rate would be around 2 to 3% so your best chance would be to do the strikes and dailys as those are where you are meant to obtain them. Edit 2: futher review of this post. It's not ment to undervalued the exotics in any way being any weapon can become black class as long as its level 20 so that being said if you value your hawkmoon or thorn, maybe you enjoy your galahad-e or zombie apocolypse. They all have chances for becoming black class items. So it will not devalue your already existing exotics only power them up. And being that they are replicas of your favorite weapon they are in essense linked to that weapon. So if you dismantle your gjalahorn your black class will disappear. So any upgrades on your weapon also transfer over and to upgrade your black class item...yup you must upgrade its counterpart. Meaning if you want it stronger. You must play with its non-black counterpart. Edit 3: epic run rewards. Now we all know class items literally have no use other than looks. Well how about with introduction to black class weapons. But black class items after completing and epic raid. Which heroics are hard enough. But have this one actually look amazing. As in have your character pulse light as a testament that you have done this feat and are proud. Which will give a reason to complete epic raids and make class items more the. Just a tiny little armband, cloak, or sideskirt.
