Potential fix to the pve/pvp nerf issue

I do not remember what game it was, seeing how it was a very long time ago (1999-2003) somewhere in between there. But i remember a mmo that had two sets of stats on all items (armor and weps) one for PVE and one for PVP. They did this so they could balance the PVP without ruining the PVE and of course vice versa as well. My question and suggestion is "Would it be possible to add something like this to the game?" I have seen it on other games such as ragnarok online (private server) and even WoW (Pserver). If they can add it why cant bungie, it would stop the community from throwing fits when something gets nerfed or buffed.

  • Guild Wars 1 was big on this. They even carried some of their lessons into Guild Wars 2.

This is NECESSARY, I repeat, absolutely ESSENTIAL. I am an avid PvE'er and I love the PvE in this game but now that my Vex takes one and a half mags (56 rounds per mag) to take down an oracle on hard mode, what is the point? The top-tier gear is underperforming gear you could buy at Xur three weeks ago. I honesly haven't touched the game since a couple hours after the patch was launched because I just see no reason to get invested in a game that won't look at the adverse effects of their patches. They didn't think about PvE at alllllllll except for the Templar which I am happy for.

      • My idea was to get rid of PvP entirely. Give it a chance :(
