A story of how supers can ruin the experience..

Now this post is about ALL supers, i am not targeting one specific class, to paraphrase the amazing sergeant Hartman "To me you are all equally cheap" Let's use "Control" as a prime example of just why supers ruin the game [This is not a post about balance, rather a post about player satisfaction/reward] You're on Fire Base Delphi, the game is close and you're being beaten on zones, Enemy team has both A and B while you only have C, they already have the strategic advantage of being able to quickly shift between A and B due to them being so close. you and your team step it up, the enemy piles in to B to protect it. both teams are fighting hard as shit and after a long fire fight you finally win out, pushing them back enough for you to be able to get in to B and get that capture. the enemy start pushing back soon after, the gauge reaches neutral. everybody, including the enemy team is on point, the battle is fierce. you work even harder to keep those guys back, to get that damn capture and gain the upper hand, the gauge reaches 50, you're nearly there, you keep it up, You have that sense of acomplishment, that sense of out playing your enemies, that sense of reward, it's an all out war. the gauge reaches 75, 80, 85, 90 and then 95 when all of a sudden "BOOM!" your entire team is dead, Voide Walker/ Striker/ Bladedancer, it doesn't matter who did it, you're all dead..all of that hard work has become meaningless because in a simple twist of fate that hunter/titan/warlock had his super gauge pop and it's all over. Do you see what i am getting at here? You and your team were doing everything right, you were locking that zone down, you were dominating, stepping up, clutching out to get ahead but that one guy...with his one move ended it all. This my Destiny friends, is why supers can flat out ruin the player experience. Just think of how shitty you would feel if this happened to you, all of that work being blown away like a fart in the wind.
