Do You Even Care?...
I just read over the October 14th patch notes and I'm curious as to how it doesn't include any server related updates. I am kicked again and again from this game and I demand that the server issues be addressed. I bought the game, I might as well be able to play it. I've complained a lot on the Forum, but I'm getting sick of Bungie's inability to take care of such a big issue. I've read other peoples' posts and I've found that many many many people are having this issue. But every time someone posts a question or comments on the errors they get a stupid post telling them that "We're working on it," and the post then proceeds to list a bunch of links that lead to "dead ends." I've got an open NAT and a great service provider. Every game I play online WORKS! Why is it that Battlefield 4 can manage to have great graphics and have 60 people on the map at one time, while Destiny has 12 people and craps itself? This issue ought to be top priority. Not weapon balancing! Fix your servers so that your customers can play your game! Otherwise you'll continue to see more complaints and returned games.

1 ReplyI don't think fixing a server is as simple as you guys think it is. You can't just click a button to fix everything. Like SaintD already said, top men are on it.

I'm sick of tired of getting returned to orbit, [i][/i]their game servers lagging out, and -most of all- cute little error names...BUT NO FIXES! I've tried it on two different ISPs and have the same errors over and over. They spent soooo much money marketing the game that should've been spent on more game servers and beta testing. Does Bungie even have the Server/Network issues on their priority list? If it is, it's nowhere near the top of the list. I don't care if this or that weapon's stats are tweaked. I care about constantly getting returned to orbit, disconnected, and laggy servers that takes 20sec to pull up your inventory while in a match. This is ridiculous. It seems like once they get their $60 for the game they don't care if it works correctly, because they know that you can't return the damn thing.

What errors are you getting? I was getting bee constantly and several others. I am now sharing the wifi from my laptop to my PS3 via an Ethernet cable and have not had any problems since! I can understand your frustration and it works soon for you.

COD Black ops didnt have thier servers at 100% for a couple of months me and couple of friends could never play online because of it and it wasnt fixed until 3 months after launch. They also didnt reply to anything i posted on the forums. I know it sucks that you cant play man but atleast they are replying and acctually trying. Hope you can get on soon man

They may have even pushed a hotfix out quickly without previous intent, to fix it, and included a finished package (weapon rebalance) while they were updating. Regardless, remember that not everyone at Bungie does the same job. The designers working on game balance aren't necessarily experts in internet connectivity.... So they can work balance and connection at the same time! Doesn't mean they are takin resources that could be working connection problems to change auto rifle damage balance. Just based on the reduction in can't connect/log in posts over the last week, id say their last hotfix with hardware updates in their end did a lot. Didn't solve everything, but it appears they are workin on it.

I agree, who cares about balanced weapons or engram updates when YOU CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE GAME!! Fix caterpillar and every other connection problem!!

2 RepliesI haven't been able to play for 7 days now along with many others and bungies top priority is that two exotic weapons are op along with auto rifles and shotguns. I will admit that they are but not as game breaking as not being able to play at all.
