I hate Farming for Engrams but Unfortunately this spot is really efficient...

So I for one was happy to see engram farming rendered mostly nonviable after the nerf. But I have a sick MMO obsession with maximizing efficiency and I ended up finding a spot that rivals the loot cave. It's Located on Venus right smack next to where you spawn when doing the Nexus Strike here and this is how set up to farm it Here's how you get there via Patrol if you don't want to load in direct from the strike As to why it works post patch: Now no one single spot can match the original loot cave but if you find two good spots within 10 meters of each other you can 2-man it and get double the drops. This is due to the way Destiny handles engram drops. It's not your proximity to the mobs when they die that counts, or even if you damaged them at all, the only thing that determines if you get a chance at a drop is if you are within ~10 feet of the person who killed the mob. So this particular spot has 3 of the fastest possible spawn zones in the game and they are all accessible from one centralized location. You need at least 2 geared players manning each side to make it work. Text Directions: You first kill all the mobs in the area. Then player one sets up directly behind the crashed ship and watches this doorway - (http://imgur.com/TvxOC8J). Two sets of mobs will spawn one will include vandals and a captain so you'll want a sniper rifle with Arc damage. Player two sets up atop this stump - (http://imgur.com/iYPKojY) roughly 8 feet behind player 1. Player 2 covers these two spawns - (http://imgur.com/sUA9g3N) Things to Note: * You don't even need to be in a fireteam to get credit for each other kills * Player 1 can use Ether Seeds and Player 2 should use Blue Polyphage * Good time to use those Icebreakers with their regenerating ammo. * The more the merrier, there's no mob tagging in destiny so the more people there the better. As long as everyone stays within 10 feet of each other you will have the same chance of getting an engram drop regardless of who does the killing.
