Destiny is a game based around online interaction with other players. Strikes and Raids really enforce that feel to the game.
Many enjoy being part of a Fireteam and making connections with other players.
Little do you know of the Lone-Wolves.
This unspoken community seems to be forgotten about in Destiny's many group themed journeys. Players find themselves wandering the game alone. Others take on this exact challenge.
These self-reliant players deserve in game content and challenges dedicated to them.
They hunger for it.
----------
Co-operation for those who need help.
Teamwork for those who cant watch their back.
Lone-Wolves need no such thing.
----------
Such acts of self-sufficiency should not go unrewarded.
Provide this community with content built for the Lone-Wolf. Missions that forbid the help of Teammates. Missions with difficulty and challenge that force the best of each individual.
Reward those who strategize and survive with great rewards that show the world the trials they solved, the enemies they conquered, and the solitude they overcame.

Don't forget the Lone-Wolves.

I believe the bump is what the kids are saying nowadays. Did I say that right? Bump. Foliage

Another bump. I just wanted to add that this would be excellent for training the 'weakest link' of the team. This would create stronger players as individuals and allow a player to grow while quietly learning from their mistakes. Think of it like 'Rites of Passage': you send the young Guardian into the rough alone with nothing but their wits and the gear that the Vanguard has given them. If they survive and pass, they are stronger for the experience. If not, then it still builds character and gives them respect for the enemies they face.
-
Bump... I would like a small dlc update for this
-
A Bump and a Hell yeah. I want all of the above. Togetherness is for the weak.
-
I would love THT

I'm sorry, but I disagree. This is a game designed around the concept of co-op play. You are asking them to change the whole development idea, when they already did that. Some of that list sounds like Halo on legendary difficulty and the mythic skull on. This isn't supposed to be a solo focused game. Even as I say that, I do have to admit that I have played most of my time solo, but I do enjoy teaming up. I would rather see Bungie spend their time on polishing this game and developing more unique content for it than shifting their focus. But then again, that is just one guardian's opinion. :)

Edited by Tierul: 10/14/2014 6:08:23 PMI play this game almost entirely by myself and think it would be awesome to see something like this :) That said, im gonna have to disagree that teamwork is for 'those who can't watch their back'

No "all of the above" option D:

A raid that only the best of the lone wolfs can complete? F**K YEA!!!!
-
Just to back me up:
http://youtu.be/caATqEGvjzU
Found this on YouTube, about wolf symbolism in Destiny; so Lone Wolf content would be in the spirit of Destiny.

I chose strike length missions but I like it all. I like playing alone to see how good I can do. If I fail on my own I have only my self to blame. To be outright honest I don't get along with CoD FPS "brain" children very often either. This whole idea would help make the game more appealing to those of us who just don't feel like stepping in the toxic waste.

I see your point but... The Queens event which had Epic modifier level 24 missions could be done solo and sometimes it was difficult. I do the weekly strikes and nightfall alone as well because friends are unreliable sometimes. However... To have a raid like activity that pushes you to take advantage of your every ability and makes you use your head... I'm down

I say, good sir, bump.
