You missed the priority and I've detailed it below

Full disclosure, most if not all of this is redundant, my aim here is that hopefully with enough of these posts, Bungie will take the feedback seriously. I really enjoy this game and have invested over 100 hours into it. The gameplay is very solid and fluid. It is on rare occasion that I get an error, dropped or lose connection. Graphically the game looks amazing and the detail is very rich. The game while a grind fest for reputation and materials is fun. I play mostly PVE on console so I am average when it comes to PVP. That being said, I still really enjoy the PVP and the competitiveness it offers. The VOG raid I really enjoy. I have yet to find a pug group that is able to complete it but when with my regular group, we easily clear it. In all, you guys took a big gamble pulling together so many different aspects of various games into one. Is it paying off? Well I'm not sure yet for the long haul but for now it is keeping me entertained. The complaints around how people come by loot are both valid and not, it depends on the context. There was no question that they Cryptarch was broken. You fixed it. How the decision was made before the fix is beyond me, it really made no sense but I digress to stay on topic. End Game: Loot: It is a bad system that endgame loot can only be obtained via the raid to obtain level 30. We have special events that really do not serve a point for higher end players. As a level 29 for my main, there was zero incentive for me to play the Queen's Bounty and there is zero incentive for me to play the Iron Banner. The armor is garbage to what I and any player that is a level 27ish and higher already have. So is the aim to grind out the rep that is needed just to get a emblem or shader? That seems pretty worthless. Now if by grinding it out during the limited time with these events and obtaining a high level of standing with these factions granted you a piece of gear that is useful (on par with raid armor) to obtain level 30, maybe more of the higher levels would give a damn about it. Events: Continuing on the subject from above, we were told that your gear and your level would matter. It doesn't. Seriously, out of that context alone I would boycott playing it and stick to regular PVP. The developers making these decisions need to rethink how they are approaching this game. If you want high level players to continue playing, then there needs to be more end game content. There is a window here where Destiny will either make it or break it. Don't believe me? Look at what happened to SWTOR for the PC, and that gave had an awesome rich story driven leveling system that was different for each class. SWTOR failed in the beginning and went F2P because it lacked end game content. They have addressed this but their user base has suffered. It took them too long in development to add the things the community wanted. Instead they added things the community did not care about. Again this was in the beginning, they have gotten far better but I like many others moved on well before those changes happened. As it stands, there is little to no reason for my main, level 29 character, to play the Iron Banner, the loot does nothing for me, the shaders do nothing for me, the emblems do nothing for me. I know I am not the only one who feels this way. Raiding: The raid is great, it is fun, it (was) challenging but it is the only thing for high level players to do outside of pvp or grind for materials. The strikes outside of the daily and the weekly ones, offer nothing for a high end player. There is no incentive. Why would I or any other high end player spend time to do a strike only to be rewarded with gear that is worse than what we already have? You guys have to already know this is a problem, yet the difficulty mode of the strikes has not been increased. The nightfall strike is ready for a level 30 counterpart. The strike playlists are in dire need of level 26, 28, 30 difficulties. Make it so the higher level difficulties will reward gear equal to that of the raid. This still makes people want to do the raid because raid gear should be "set gear" and as such offer set bonuses. 2 / 3 / 4 piece bonuses. This allows people to get to 30 without the raid but still drive interest towards the raid to get their respective set gear and bonuses. Story: Campaign: I do not even need to get into this. The story from the very beginning makes little sense and at the end you just do not care. That did not stop me from playing through it twice, once on my main and my alt. There are so many things wrong, missing, that just make the whole story mode feel completely broken. I'm going to stop here because it has already been said way to much and hopefully you guys have learned your mistake even though you will not admit it. Grimoire: Please incorporate this into the game via a codex or something. There is too much content here that is far too removed from the game. Factions: Please build out the factions to have them be worth something. In the beginning it was great to pick a faction and level it up. Now there really is no point, unless I am missing something. Please expand on their back story and give purpose to leveling your reputation up with them. Maybe make it where increasing reputation with one faction lowers it with another but yields very awesome and unique rewards for each faction? Weapons: So far the weapons are very good though fine tuning is still needed. The Scout rifle is pretty much useless outside of PVE, everyone in PVP uses an auto rifle - shotgun - fusion rifle until the heavy ammo crates come out. Please work on fine tuning the primary weapons to promote diversity adoption. New weapons would not necessarily need to be introduced yet if hand cannons, scout rifles and pulse rifles were given some more love. As it stands, I use the Suros for just about everything. Weapon ideas: >SMG to counter the CQC of shotguns through very high ROF but very limited range. >Buff hand cannons to 2 shots to the head for death rather than 3. Buff base damage. >Buff scout rifles for more base damage to counter all of the AR usage. >Pulse rifles seem to be in the similar situation as scout rifles, again the AR is just king. >Fusion sniper rifle - add a charge time for it to be a one shot kill with potential penetration for multi kills. >Where are the laser futuristic weapons? >Heavy weapon beam cannon - provides a constant steady beam of energy to literally cut enemies in half >A flame / plasma thrower/torch type special weapon - very limited range designed for CQC but killing any enemy too close can cause damage to self via target being on fire causes AOE damage. Would be cool if when the player moving with the flame / plasma thrower or torch equipped gets killed, the player's death results in a grenade like explosion killing near by team mates. >Use of the alien weapons. PVP system: Loot: Random loot for PVP players is fine, it is mostly all garbage anyway for high end player and becomes nothing but materials. However, exotics and legendaries being random in this type of system is bull. A player who goes 1 and 20 should not be rewarded with a random legendary or exotic when compared to a player who went 20 and 1. Change the RNG perimeters for the legendary and exotic weapon rewards in PVP to only include the top 3 players. This encourages everyone to play better. Quitting: A player should be penalized from quitting on a pvp match before the match concludes. I am guilty of this because you can do it without penalty and being on a bad team that is going to lose does nothing for you, so why not quit. Well if I could no longer jump ship and join up with another team that would change things. Some ideas: quitting before a match ends properly puts a debuff on your character that lasts 10 minutes. This debuff could be: A) reduces your characters hit points (for pvp) by 50 percent making you easier to kill for the time period B) does not allow you to que for another pvp match until the debuff has subsided C) weapon damage is reduced by 25 percent for primary / 50 percent for special / 75 percent for heavy (for pvp) D) increases your PVP respawn time by 200 percent. New match mode: Really expand on the team based system by adding an objective based attach and defend match. Increase the team size for this mode. Team A is responsible for defending a base that has 2-3 objective locations that the attacking (Team B) is trying to destroy. Team B must use tactics and strategy to effectively attack the objectives. Objectives are destroyed by the attacking team making its way to one of the said objectives and deploying a ghost. The ghost then uploads a virus into the system (or does something) that causes the objective object to fail and be destroyed. This takes 2-3 minutes to upload and the attacking team must defend the ghost and thus the objective while it is being uploaded. The defending can wipe out the attacking team and the said location and deploy their own ghost to repair the damage that was done. The time needed for the repair is based on the amount of damage done by the attackers. Once the 2 or 3 objectives are destroyed another objective can go active for the attacking team to destroy and thus deliver the final blow regardless of time. If the defenders hold the attackers from destroying the final objective then the defenders win. Additionally if the final objective is not an end all be all, then the winner can be decided based off the most damage dealt. This is because after one round the two teams will switch sides for the second round. In the case of a tie breaker, the team with the most kills will win. Another alternative is that both teams have a limited respawn count and the the team that wins either depleted the other teams respawns first or meets the objectives. Of course there is a time limit as well.

It is good to see these articulate and thought out posts, our only hope is that DeeJ and or someone else at Bungie is reading them (it would be great to have a Viewed by Bungie tag along with the Bungie replied tag so we know that it was noticed). I could not see anything you listed that has not been brought before me, along with that player's request that I come up with some ideas to present to Bungie to "fix' them since I posted the first of these. I and almost all of the others that have replied to these topics, or sent me private messages after reading them, feels exactly the same as you seem to, and we all appear to share the same core beliefs and hopes as you have outlined so well - as well as a common and passionate love for the game we have been given. The difference between your approach here and mine is I am trying to find ways to make changes to accommodate many of the things you (and many, many others) have mentioned without adding the need for vast amounts of new programming, thereby allowing the Devs to implement these faster, cheaper and using in almost all cases, what already exists within the game. I hope that you find these two approaches both unique and thought provoking, I am sure you will see how they cover more aspects and integrate more parts of the game, particularly those you mention, than each of their titles suggest. I cannot post the three topics here due to their size and the amount of detail within each one so I will give you a link. I think you may find them a viable answer to several of the things you addressed in the OP, and might agree with what we are proposing. I will be looking forward to your comments on each one and wish you the best in this endeavor. • We need a way to make parties in the game. A LFG tool. A party finder? Lobby? Anything that will group like minded players together. For any party. Strikes, missions, raid, farming. Going outside the game to do this is backwards, dumb, ridiculous, and takes up more time.
