I Wish I Could Play Destiny More Than Once Per Week

This is not a bash-fest, before emotions get involved. I am simply stating I have found myself as bored with this as I get in the "end game" phase of many other MMOs. There are some things I wish we could do with this game, some I have mentioned since the beta. Within the hour of game reset every Tuesday I run the Vault of Glass on each of my 3 Awoken Warlocks with one of the 5 roomates who bought Destiny. In a few hours following that we will run the nightfall and whatever else just reset. I am excited about elemental primary weapons because we spent about 15 character levels fantasizing about them, they are new, they are rare. My friends refer to my storage as the "Golden Armory", as I have pages of exotics by now. I am really only looking for one item, the Alpha Lupi helm. This should make my efforts more efficient. Beyond that, there is nothing left I really consider "character growth" or "development." The bounties bore me, as I am overly familiar with them. I do not suffer a lack of upgrade materials, and I tend to let the leveling of items run its course. I have not felt the drive to grind a weapon up, only to lower a Praetorian's shield slightly faster. "Grind" is nasty, I know, but it applies. I find myself falling back to Minecraft. Simple and completely different, I know, but the ability to build something satisfies me. As I play, I wish there were something at all like it in Destiny. I could spend countless hours building a home or some sort of guild hall. Missions to reclaim land outside the wall on Earth would thrill me. Something where I could plant and harvest resources, as in the latest Monster Hunter games. I could even see myself spending a lot of time redecorating the walls of my home with superficial collectables, as in DC Universe Online. That seems to be a tall order, as it is rare. Okay. I have exhausted my shaders, though. Without the ability to determine the application of the colors to my outfit, only a few interest me. Fewer still, once I realize what I will accept with the unchangeable aspects of my exotics. I cannot change my makeup or hair, though something as profound as race and gender seem like a possibility in this world of "supertech." I think of repainting my guns and adjusting baubles on my exotics as I return to Minecraft. I am active on the forums and hungrilly read the news for updates. Patch notes seem to be the only thing I can really make sense of as I try to avoid the pointless "he said-she said" of a community that would better spend their energies attatching their desired changes to a plan that actually generates a financial gain or loss to the companies involved with this game. Sometimes I suggest Kickstarter as a way to facilitate the game we want being build by a more community-driven company, without the binding politics suffered by larger brands. Your updates and DLC interest me, but I am considering a return to PC gaming. I find PC cumbersome with maintenance and upgrades. My hope is some "buzzword" in the description for DLC or line of a patch note will draw me back in. Right now, I find it more entertaining to express myself here, than to decapitate another 200 Fallen. I mean all of this in the true interest of positive change and I long for a constructive dialogue. Thank you.
