Remove the Mark cap please...
I'm not talking about the mark cap of "Earn 100 per week" I'm talking about only being able to have 200 marks at any one time, what the shit is up with that? what the shit is even the point in that?
I can understand 100 marks per week, but why cap them out total at 200? it doesn't make any kind of sense to me, if somebody is saving their marks then they are obviously saving for something specific, why cap out their savings? only being able to hold two weeks worth of marks at one time is complete BS in my honest opinion.

I did not realize there was a marks cap until my friend commented when I told him I had 200. Time to go shop and shard. I hope I did not waste too many by not being to earn them over 200.

I think the weekly cap needs increased I can max out the weekly cap in two days and after that am playing the vanguard playlist for xp and for the players that aren't a fan of the crucible

what really irritates me about the cap, is I want to buy the legendary armor from the Vanguard, but need to wait, because my marks are maxxed out, so it makes you wait every week to buy a piece or two of the armor... ridiculous... hell, at least raise it to 250...

I think the weekly cap should be 200 marks, but shared. So you can get all the 200 in vanguard if you don't like crucible.

Why have any mark caps? If u have a cap why not a daily one? After u max out marks and do raid nightfall weekly, basically do it again on 2 more characters, ain't nobody got time for dat, honestly huge disappoint this game is, to Put it as master yoda might say

the problem is you cant even spend the marks by the time you get rank 2 sometimes, so you hit 200 cap, and still have some rep to go and all those marks you could be getting but arent, are still going towards your weekly cap.

It took me 3 weeks in total to save up Crucible marks to get the full Justicar set from New Monarchy because of the low cap, on top of this, weapons are 150 marks each which is 1 1/2 weeks worth of the Crucible/Vanguard playlists and you can't buy anything afterwards until the weekly reset. It would be better if the cap was raised to 300. That way you could have a choice of buying a weapon and whatever gear you still need, or buy 2 weapons, or buy a full set of gear all in one go. At least with 300 marks, we have some options instead of being forced to pick a specific item(s). I also want to know why helmets are x2 the price of marks when everyother piece of gear only costs 65 marks. And that's not the only thing that needs to have a raise in level cap, Glimmer also needs to be raised. It's only use is for buying ammo consumables and leveling weapons and gear, so I'm always hitting the cap faster than I can spend it.

The cap "per week" should be 150 and the cap "total" should be 300. That at least allows you to buy 1 "expensive" item (gun, helm) per week or two cheaper armor pieces per week. "Oops, I already bought boots this week, guess I'll have to wait a week for gloves" is no fun. It would at least allow you to earn 1 of anything you want every week.

The Glimmer cap actually annoys me more. Especially if you want to do the Invective Bounty quick. For that you have to use up roughly half your Glimmer for it. Not that there's actually anything worth spending Glimmer on after level 16-18. Or at all if you're lucky with drops.

i dont even get the 100 marks a week , i think the more someone plays the more he sould be rewarded, me and 2 friends get the vanguard 100 cap on 3 characters in like 4,5-5 hours then we spent the rest of the week bored , not to mention the raid, i belive that the fact that we can finish the raid 10 times faster than someone else should leave us more time to redo it and get more rewards ,but someone who went in the raid as a 25lvl forcing everyoe to carry him taking 5 days to finish the raid can take the same amount of rewards if not more in a week as me, i think its stupid

3 RepliesI would love for the mark cap to be raised. I hate the Crucible and tend not to do the bounties because I suck at doing most of them, so I have 200 crucible marks I can't do anything with right now. I got 100 in a week for the achievement and am less than half way to rank 2 so I am going to lose scores of marks because I can't spend them. Rather flawed system, in my opinion. Hell, at least let me trade the marks for rep.
