My thoughts on Xur
Hey community, I just wanted to share mine thoughts on Xur mostly because I don't see this opinion around the forums. In my opinion, [b]Xur is both good and bad[/b]. What I mean is Xur is good is you can go buy exotics from him if you didn't got lucky with the drops. [b]But the main problem is whatever Xur sells, Suros Regime for an example, most people will get it and that weapon won't be special anymore.[/b] It's ok with all the exotics Zur sells so far, but Bungie needs to make sure that he doesn't sell all of the exotics. If he sells thorn for an example, the gun you can only get from completing the bounty, then that is when I am done. Xiang should not sell weapons you can only get from a bounty. In short, Xur is fine but any exotics he sell, that piece of exotic won't be special anymore. When Bungie releases new weapons and armor, I strongly suggested adding more exotics that are exclusive to bounties so you will feel good walking around with a weapon that few people have. Share your guys thoughts below.

I just want to know what it hurts to have more people have exotic weapons? This whole "it's not special" argument. If you want something to be "special" then only the top 5% would have it. So the other 95% get nothing? The loot system as of now rewards a broader spectrum of players. Casual and hardcore. So if your a hardcore raider what does it hurt you if someone who just does patrol missions has the same gun you do? Yes I get the "earned" it discussion. At the end of the day how does it hurt you? You can still raid. They can still do patrol missions. They don't break your game. You don't break theirs. If I run my strikes I would rather my other 3 teammates be decked out in exotics than some whites. Would make our run a little bit easier. Even from a pvp perspective. As long as the weapons are properly "balanced" it shouldn't matter who has what. If it's balanced or not is a totally different discussion. Everyone acts like xur broke the game. All it did was close the gap between players. I don't see that as a bad thing. I'm sorry some people don't feel all warm and fuzzy special for thr gear they got. I still fail to see how it hurts someone.

Destiny log shows exactly what Xur has the ability to sell, none of his possible weapons are exotic bounty items.
