23 strange coins for the AR what a ripoff
I've earned as much strange coins as I possibly could this week and I'm still 5 short. Last week I barely managed it because I was kind of low level but I got the exotic chest plate. How is it that an exotic chestplate, which is EXPONENTIALLY more useful than the exotic AR (which by the way, is not even as good as the Legendary AR you get from factions), costs only 13 strange coins and the AR costs 23?! Here's hoping next week gives me a pulse rifle, or I'm probably not gonna bother because the hand cannon and scout rifle are shit. Buyer beware.

3 RepliesI can't tell if you're trolling so if you are disregard this. First of all the suros is one of the best weapons in the game. No recoil with two damage perks is incredible. The fact that zur sold it borderline broke the game. It should have cost more if not double for a fair price. It is by far better than red death or bad juju. And I do agree with the hate for scout rifles. But hand cannons are amazing. And if you don't like them you just suck at aiming. Plane and simple. Secondly armor is not better than weapons. They have their own advantages. What you're really looking at is the perks on them. And two damage perks is going to be better than most exotic armor pieces. And finally.. 23 strange coins is not that many. You do not need 3 characters to get this in a week. The if you do the weekly heroic in 28 there's 9 coins. That plus some crucible and Engrams you can easily get it if you get 2 strange coins a day which is easy. That's how they base it. 23 - 9 = 14. I have had enough to buy an armor piece one week, and the weapon ever single week. It's people like you who complain about shit being handed to them that ruin games.
