Edit: Stop liking this. When I originally wrote this, I was less informed regarding DeeJ's responsibilities. Now I know better. DeeJ does a good job.

How can he tell us to stay on target when they missed theirs by a mile.
-
You are right. Only traffic cones can keep drivers on target.
-
This is what DeeJ does. Someone brings up the fact that he doesn't do his job (answers only destiny related questions in mail sack and only from the ones that suck his dick), and he simply mutes them. I imagine he's the kind of person he can't take any criticism and fly off on one when he responds (refer to the Frank Woods incident). He's a terrible community manager and needs to be replaced. It's as simple as that.
-
Cause bungie doesnt care about us. They want to control how we play this game like tyrants and cut content and turn this game into nothing but a grind.
-
I'll tell you why it isn't helping. Because the majority of this "community" are idiots. Here you have a moment where a Community Manager is asking for feedback and the majority of the responses are nothing but the same childish complaints, empty threats and frivolous rumors. You have the chance to sound off and what does the "community" do? Act like a bunch of f"king kids. Oh hey, internet...what a shocker! I think you completely misread the context of Deej's statement. He meant for everyone to stay on target as in focus on real, legitimate feedback, which is there, but unfortunately hidden within the thickets of typical "community" retardation. How do we as gamers convince people this medium isn't "just for kids" when the majority of them ACT like kids?
-
Stay on target…stay on target…
-
Perhaps I'm spoiled by devs like riot, but the fact that there is only one bungie dev that posts on the forum is absurd.
-
You should know, that expecting legitimate support from this community is futile. Yep, I'm referencing my own posts regarding my personal concerns, and my experience on numerous occasions. To silence the undercurrent of useless responses, forums usually employ vigilant moderators, you won't find any on the b.net forums. This is why posts like yours that are thought out, well written, updated and tended to, are lost beneath the wailing voices of Internet syntax and manifestations of our current sick sick generation. It's unfortunately a lost cause. The only way to get your voice heard is send it to the source, but I have had no success with my own endeavours there. Moderator replies appear in positive posts. DeeJ only responds to threads that lightly tread on criticism, so that he can treasure his approval and use it as a tool should he ever need to defend his position on how he interacts with the community. I haven't played Destiny for 8 days. I became embroiled in forum debates last week, and became ill as a consequence. It took over my life, believing my efforts would be fruitful. It's futile. Sadly, when you hear "go play something else" it couldn't be any more fitting.

I feel as a community we just need closure to the big questions we have all being asking and the ones that are being constantly repeated in new posts. Even if the answer they give us is something we dont want to hear such as " Destiny is not the way we wanted because we ran out of time and money, meaning we could not deliver our promise" it would still give us an answer we could then understand what happened, like it or not and move on. Right now any answer I would be happy with.
-
I think Bungie is confusing commercial success with actual success on development of a decent product. Personally, I can't stand this game anymore. I would rather grind my cock into sausage meat than grind anymore in this game. Reminded me why I hate MMO games.

Edited by UndersizeDrew: 10/15/2014 3:05:52 PMI personally don't care that the rewards are STILL RANDOM. nothing has changed. The problem is that iron banner is no different than crucible. I thought we were gettin a new game type and its not anything new. If the communities biggest concern is still the loot drops, we are never gonna get the game most of us feel we should be playing. I'm not trying to put anyone down but we need to collectively pick our battles Right now it seems their big project is getting te servers to work properly. Awesome. What's the next step? Fix loot again? Please god lets not waste more time. We need to get more diverse objectives, proximity voice, more playable areas open, a tower mini game for science sake! I understand people will keep complaining about shotties and ARs an blade dancers but I feel these things are not out of balance(maybe ar) and we need to focus as a community on communicating to bungie what really needs to be fixed. And things that are "OP" really should t matter at this point. We need to get the game off the ground and fine tune LATER Edit: if weekly patches just keep ending up being weapon and class balancing, this game is gonna start to suck. They're just trying to make it look like they are doing something. I'd like I know if we are actually going to get any content before the dlc. If not that means our feedback isn't being heard and dlc content will probly be super disappointing and/or will be exactly what they intended it to be at launch, thus not taking our comments into account. There's always destiny 2 right?! It will just be another string

Good post! Keep it up

Even THIS is better than the useless crap he gave us this week. Nice way of responding to feedback Deej.... give an interview for an actress who probably has less than two paragraphs of dialogue in the entire "expansion"... nice.
