Ok this game needs to be better. I understand that what I'm saying is totally stupid and we probly have all we are really gonna get from destiny already but this game is getting more uninteresting by the minute. Finally popped gta v back into my Xbox after only playing destiny since I got it. Some excitement for a change. I can tell my gf isn't digging the game (destiny)and I can't blame her. I especially notice how boring it is when she is watching/playing with me. We usually have enough energy for one activity and then I just can't justify making her sit through it any longer and she likes almost all the games I play. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the weapons system. Weapons and gear and solid shooter mechanics. Oh and co op when you're not paired up with someone who apparently has no interest in actually playing the game. But honestly it's really just the mechanics on the guardians end. The enemies feel just like halo and some of them seem to like glitch out and not attack you a lot. Plus every enemy seems to have the same stupid moonbounce jump. Looks unfinished. I thought we'd see a difference from halo gameplay. Oh wait there is a difference. I can go through ridiculous periods of time with no enemies unless i run away an come back to an area(patrol) Traveling around old Russia its like the only reason they have these hallway sections indoors is to funnel you to the next huge area with barely any enemies. No encounters on the way. Once you've seen the hive fighting the fallen in that one room you've seen it enough. It never looks any different. Plus, as we've all noticed, none of the missions beside one or two in beginning really have fleshed out enemy encounters. No enemies engaging you in interesting ways. Just the first missions with the fallen crawling around on stuff and the hive climbing the walls in the "dark room". I'm at work so my thoughts are scattered here but just a few more things. Public events need to happen way more often. The Getting gold in three public events bounty takes waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too long. And really they are the only thing that make the open areas fun. Make real visual customization options. When DLC comes out you damn well better have NEW ACTIVITIES for us to do. NOT EVENTS! The queen wrath whatever thing was so disappointing. Way to kick off launch guys. New story missions/raids/strikes will not cut it and ill trade my game and never buy bungie or activision products again if that's all we get. We need: Tower mini games/social activities/gambling. (How about make it so we can gamble on the crucible matches somehow. It would bring more depth to the idea of factions if you did it right. And it may be a way for pve people to earn crucible marks w/o actually competing ) Hunting/mobs that are wild animals that we can get different materials from. A new mode altogether. Something intense and action packed but not a raid that takes hours to figure out. Better visual customization. I can't believe i was getting my hopes up for this to be covered by armor only [i]shaders[/i] Different objectives/mission flow Patrol npcs Weather. Day night cycle is cool but again. Why wouldn't we have expected rain and storms? Missions that don't seem like they were lazily slapped together. (Sorry) Actual deep story with the cinematics an dialogue to back it up (You've got a lot of catching up to do. You basically fueled a bunch of nerd rage by inadvertently causing tons of gamers' imaginations to run wild and delivering nothing but a random loot generator in a pointless game world. My hopes were waaaaay too high apparently) Did I say different activities? (Firefight, all thrall firefight, racing, gambling, bomb objective games, card trading(I stupidly thought the grimoire cards (huge letdown) would double as a trading card mini game in-game), epic patrol bosses(bosses that actually roam the map), I could go on) Tl;dr This game needs to get better or I'm throwing it in the fire and rethinking how I spend my free time. Video games are huge let downs in general nowadAys but.... Especially destiny [spoiler]time to go play gta V. Exciting but we are never getting those heists. Screw video game companies. Make a good product or stop asking people to buy your stuff[/spoiler]
