Defender Build:
1. Ward of Dawn + Weapons of Light (Increased weapon damage bubble)
2. Illuminated (Increased damage of Weapons of Light)
3. Disintegrate + War Machine (Force field with super fast reloads after mêlée kills)
4. Relentless (Stronger and longer force field)
5. Titan Codex II (Increased speed & toughness)
6. Titan Codex VI (Increased raw speed)
Concept:
The idea is to fully utilize the Thorn's strengths and minimize its glaring weaknesses (slow reload speed & small magazine size). This makes the Titan's Defender bubble work magic! If you are skilled with the hand cannon, you can 2-shot guardians with the increased weapon damage + DOT. The blinding bubble also guarantees a mêlée kill which gives you the force field with "blindingly fast" reloads. The strength and agility focus will allow you to take advantage of the Thorn's DOE and make it easier to run around punching people in the face. This would also an extremely fun build in PVE. As a Titan, I feel like an actual tank facing enemies head-on rather than hiding in the corner with my AR or Scout Rifle.
I love hand cannons so it's just a bit sad seeing the Thorn taking a lot of crap recently. What do you guys think? Is this build doable for Titans?
