I had some issues with my xbox one console and I had a replacement sent. Now when I play destiny I do not have access to my pre-order exclusive sparrow. It is in my inventory and equipped but when I look at the item it says in red "Pre-Order Exclusive". When I use my sparrow, I just get a plain black one. I no longer have the code because I didn't think I'd ever need it again. I tried contacting support via an email ticket but because the code was on a receipt, it's one they ask you to talk to the retailer about. Due to the fact that the code worked form day one to now, I doubt a retailer could do anything for me. If anyone has any suggestions, please help me. :)

On the X1 try this. Go to home page, then My games and Apps, find Destiny, Hit start button, then manage game, hopefully there you will see the items you previously redeemed, then be able to "re-install".
