Here's an idea for a new feature: the ability to save custom loadouts/character builds for later use. When going straight from a mission into crucible, it takes a few minutes to switch subclass settings and weapon/armor/gear. There's a lot of nuance to setting up a perfect build, it would be nice to save it once it's just right.
On the other side of the argument, giving people the ability to quickly change from one loadout to another could change the dynamics of PvP, perhaps negatively.
What do you think of this potential feature? Any other thoughts, either positive or negative?

Is it me or do you already have custom loadouts...

Loadout = a single list of all of the gear and subclass settings you use at any one time. If you have a favorite setting on your subclass (Voidwalker Warlock using blink, shatter, bloom, angry magic), along with a favorite auto rifle, sniper, and machine gun, this would be one loadout.

Edited by Gabe: 10/4/2014 3:09:34 PMSure. For PvP, just keep the losing ammo mechanic when you switch. People are still able to switch in PvP completely but switching subclasses resets your super, and you lose ammo for switching a weapon etc. Just make it so that everything that's switched from a custom loadout is affected accordingly and it'll be fine and fair to how it is right now. Also I don't know how CoD doing this is a bad thing. Its a convenient mechanic, not a CoD exclusive one...
