Wuddup homies, perhaps I am the only one that really gets a kick out of driving the sparrow, if not, then read on. I think racing missions would be really cool in Destiny. It could be as simple as it sounds (race mission in a story mission), or as involved as a group of guardians being chased down by a ship (matchmaking mission). The motivation for this feature is simple, people like a game that has more fun things to do. I suppose the races could take place in the already existing game locations, or perhaps Bungie can make a track. Racing can fit nicely into the story line; say you have to reach some building, the mission starts with you and your matchmaking group all driving in your sparrows, camera pans from overlooking your group to a focus on your guardian. Some enemy ships can come in and start blasting the guardians. There could be interesting victory triggers like last man driving (everyone else gets killed by the enemy ship), timed victory (outrun the enemy ship), distance victory (reach the outpost). There is clearly room here for coop and competitive here.
