Ammo synthesis pack bug
For the past couple of days, my synthesis packs have been o the fritz. Ill go to use one and it will disappear from my inventory as well as start the cooldown for using another pack, yet when I go out of my start menu, my ammo stays the same as it was before using the pack. I'm wondering if anyone else is having or has had this problem, and whether there's a fix for it.

You also can't use it when you are down. As well as needing one open consumable slot

Bump ! I have the same problem (on PS4). I think the bug came when l loaded a ammo synth while loading screen in battle (during/after death). We saw many times some ammo synth packs consummed (with cooldown timer) but without giving ammo if used while loading and not into action. The bug lasted for days (very rough when you do VoG daily...). I have tried to change swap by another rocket launcher or to change the weapon type by using a machine gun (with no effect). I tried to reboot destiny and after to reboot the PS4, without effect too. I will try to make some room in my inventory (at least one empty slot), but it's seems to be a common problem (many of my team mates have already see it at least one time), so please FIX IT !

Same here used up 4 heavy ammo packs none of them gave me anything and the timer just reset. Please fix this bungie. Imagine beeing in the vault of glass and your ammo not spawning. Frustrating much?

2 RepliesOk, heres the fix. If your characters consumable inventory is full synthesis wont work. You need one empty slot. Its worked for me.

went through three attempts during mission using special ammo synthesis dropped my count in inventory but no ammo ??? frustrating trying to drop the three hive witches

1 ReplyI have seen similar. It appears as the only place they work is when you are in the same section as other players. Ie every one in the same darkness zone. and Not in the pre load of mission, on a planet not before the mission description has passed. I have been trying for ages to sus out when and where they work. Grr. WTF

This is happening to me as well. I hit max glimmer every day, and buy ammo synth to make room for more. It's a very rude awakening in VoG when you not only fail to produce ammo when you really need it, but it STILL makes you wait the full cool down. Bungie please fix this ASAP.

Im having the same problem. Im going to start a new character and see if it happens with them too. Ill update later.
