Account lockout (cattle) - Resolved!

Hi Bungie, I know that I am not the only person with these issues so I understand that you guys have a long list of things to do. I am not asking for an instant fix, all I want is for you to acknowledge the issue and say that you are looking into things and will have some kind of fix ready soon. I find it very strange that a company such as yours does not have a customer service department to speak of. There is no way to contact you other than on this forum, so here I am. I played the Alpha and Beta and I bought the Ghost Edition because I enjoyed the game so much. I have enjoyed the game since launch despite a few minor issues with disconnects and such. I played all over the weekend with very few problems apart from a couple of disconnects. I arrived home from work yesterday (Monday) and was not able to get passed the sign-in screen. I have been unable to sign into the game since. I get to the main screen where you press "X" to continue, the game tells me it is signing in but then returns a "cattle" error code after some time. I have checked everything on my end and I am certain that everything is fine. I can sign in to PSN and use other games without issue. All other internet appications work fine and I have not encountered this kind of issue with Destiny before. But just to be sure I have done the following things: 1) Restarted my router 2) Swapped the router for a different one 3) Disconnected all other devices from my network 4) Set up a static IP and DMZ for my PS4 5) Set up port forwarding for PSN and Destiny 6) Did a database rebuild on the PS4 7) Deleted and reinstalled Destiny All of these steps have had no effect. I still can't get passed the sign-in screen without the getting the cattle error, as such I now have a game that is completely useless as I cannot play it at all. I am a very reasonable person and I am willing to wait for this issue to be resolved as long as I get some form of acknowledgement from you. I am not a drama queen and will not be returning my copy of the game or giving up on the game but I would like to have some kind of idea as to when I might be able to play it again. As I said earlier, I am well aware that there are thousands of other players with similar issues and I feel bad for them as well, I hope that you can resolve all of these peoples' issues as well and we can all go back to playing and enjoying Destiny. Kind regards, KaT Edit (04/10): I have also tried the DNS workaround and restoring my licences on PSN and both have not made any difference. I am not a UPC customer so I doubt I am affected by whatever the issue is with UPC.

  • I am still unable to log into the game despite @BungieHelp saying on Twitter that log in issues on PlayStation consoles should be resolved. The issue is still exactly as it has been for me. Can't get passed the title screen where you press X to play.
