Hey guys!
Wanted to play a bit more today after I had a look at the new patch yesterday evening.
But when I try to login now the game tells me:
"use of user-generated media is not allowed for your account"
and
"use of this application's chat and messaging features it not allowed for your account."
Then after a minute or two I get the error message that I cannot connect to the servers or that the partner servers are not responding (something like that) and I should check help.bungie.net and search for cattle.
I did that and it is all about internet connections and ports and what not - since I did not change anything compared to last night when it worked like a charm I am in kind of a pickle here ^^
From what I found in the net I know that the PSN was down and nothing worked because of that but it seems to be fixed already as I can access the PSN store and everything.
I am a UPC customer and I play from Ireland.
Any help or info if there is a current issue would be much appreciated :)

Note that from time to time I can log in, but then, my friend list is empty and Destiny does not recognise my PSN plus, meaning, no access to strikes, raids, groups and chat .... That a bit cutting out the MMO aspect. From Ireland, UPC customer. PSN+ up to date. Can we have a fix on this because I am seriously considering a refund at that point. Exaar

I have hte same issue here in the northeast united states on xbox one.

Seems like the majority of you hitting the user-generated media / Cattle issue have similar circumstances. We're looking into this matter and will keep things updated as we gather reliable information. Also, as a heads up- We haven't investigated the long term effects of the DNS workaround that has been making the rounds. We want everyone to get into Destiny smoothly, and we want there to be no outstanding issues afterwards.

I am having the same issue played may 6 hrs this week near not enough to get my 13 strange coins to get helm of the saint 14 which I don't think is a huge lost since I just have to wait 3 weeks to get the item again but still it sucks that I have to wait when I am so close.

I am having the exact same issues. We have tried restoring licenses, setting PS4 as primary, shutting off and rebooting, and so on. Usually I manage to get back in, but I'm guessing it's dumb luck more than anything else, and nothing I actually did. Considering the progress being made, I'm just putting this out here, so it can be tracked. I'm in Belgium, and the issue started after the last update. Thanks for all your help.

Constant cattle can't get passed signing in. Please fix. Not looking for waste of time help links. Your production and development budget should make you ashamed of this situation.

just maybe UPC messed up something? Friends with different internet provider (eircom, vodaphone etc.) have no problem :/

Had the same problem but this worked like a charm on my ps4 Change dsn codes to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and than reset your psn licence in the psn setting(can Take a minute)

Here a UPC customer from The Netherlands too. I've been playing Destiny since release without -any- problems. All of a sudden, indeed after the PSN down, I get the cattle stuff just as stated by IronLion. Tried all the solutions but nothing works. Quite annoying.

Same problem even when the PSN is back online. I am starting to get centipede error again, again, again, again, again.......and again........................................and again.

Solution: log in Destiny!!! Specialy thanks to!!: Get Wrecked http://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/4299487 Okay I did some fixes done and I have done it via google DNS, now it works is (temporarily) what you do to your ps4 internet connection and then connection status. make a graphic image below and then go to new internet setting. When you're there you go to manual and then enter the data of the graphic image below. at the last 2 options you enter at the first 8.8.8.4 Now in and at the 2nd run 8.8.8.8 you make it through the dns of google. It is equally a tijdeijke fix anyway. works like a charm i guess.

Exact same issues here, in Ireland and using upc also. I've tried all the easy 'off and on again' solutions already.

Hey guys, finally got my game working again. Just reset your internet connection and manually change your DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. respectively. Should work no problem.

Edited by elKazaam: 10/3/2014 12:37:29 PMi got the same problem. i live in austria, isp is A1. played a few minuets ago and now i cant play and get the cattle and the vulture error, but i have a gold membership, so vulture is not logic.. help, maybe? i have the digital pre order vanguard edition, no harddisk. ps: for no, o only get the vulture error, that means i have no xbox live membership, but thats not true. greetz kazaam pps: for the moment it works.
