Hi Guardians , first of all let's talk about the open world pvp for those who are not familiar with Mmo game mechanics. Open world pvp means that the fights and combats can occur between players anywhere in the game world . Virtually all Open World PvP games place some limit on where and/or when this type of PvP can occur. This is typically done by zone, area, or character level. Destiny unfortunetly do not authorize us to do so !! Why ? For 2 main reason in my opinion . 1: the background story why guardians should fight against each others instead of saving the universe and defeat the darkness ?!! Yes there is no reason to add such mechanics with the actual story line!! 2 : The balance (hardcore vs casual) such game mode would disgust certainly many player. Imagine, you go to do some patrol on mars, you pick the first one, your objectiv is to recon a tunnel then 3 high level Ambush you and destoy you faster than light ... like i said this kind of adventure will enrage you !!! BUT only if you are a new fresh guardian... For veteran such activity will be awesome !!! here is my ideas on how to introduce it in the game and how to make it Epic or at least playable . Faction: after the level 20, almost evry guardian pick and wear faction item to raise repution in order to unlock stuff and weapons. what if evrytime you wear an item faction you become an ennemy for player who wear item faction too!! If i am wearing dead orbit every player who wear fwc or monarchy could hit me and i could hit them too!!! Very simple, you wear it so defend it, if you stay with neutral one, no one can touch you and you could not touch them either !!!! off course not in every planet !!! (Mars only for example) like that low and new level will not be harassed, they can continue to grind and enjoy the story!! high level can also enjoy patrol if they wear neutral item but if they want to raise honour it will be at their risk and danger !! NO GUTS NO GLORY!!
