Radar in PvP should be modified.

For the campaign part of this game I'm okay with the radar because it does its part and it can be relatively useful at times BUT for PvP its garbage. First off it constantly tracks all enemy players which may seem useful but the same is being done to you and your team. I can't even remember the number of countless times I've had people with shotguns hiding behind walls waiting for me to ping on their radar just to get obliterated without a chance to defend myself. So radar should work off of gunshots or should or it should be modified in a way that isn't a constant tracking of one another. Also, add a indicator to the radar that depicts height, or depth! You shouldn't be on my radar if you were two floors below me in the same building and still appear the same as if you are directly next to me!!!!! I HATE THAT. Doesn't even make sense. Any suggestions or idea?! Lets get Bungie listening! EDIT: After a few replies and conversations I was thinking maybe a radar variant for PvP and PvE? Because having them the same doesn't make sense. Players react differently than AI enemies. Thoughts?!
