I'm also having the same problem. Is there a way to manually do it? I'm new to this and all.

Full error message "You have lost connection to Destiny servers. Your permission to access online multiplayer game play may have changed or your profile may be signed in elsewhere." I've done the normal power on and off. Reset routers and what have you. I checked my updates and I haven't updated the patch from today. The last update for my console was 9/15/2014. I even went as far as restoring the license for all my games in hopes that would boot up the update. Any advice on this issue. I'm not one to complain about destiny. It's played almost perfectly for me since launch.
