Not legendary ones, obviously..we were told saving purple engrams would get them reverted down to blue when the patch goes live BUT is anybody saving their blue engrams? since the chance for legendary items from blue engrams is being buffed and all. i decided to start saving mine up as soon as i heard about it. as far as i know Bungie have not stated that blue engrams will be demoted and plus..they are only blue so even if they did get demoted i wouldn't be pissed about it. i just decided to run a little experiment, save up the blue engrams, see how much higher of a chance this patch gives them. EDIT: It's been brought to attention (Because i missed a part of the patch preview) That pre-patch engrams will not gain the effects of post-patch which means saving them is pretty useless, but hey..we get the satisfaction of watching that Cryptarch bar rapidly fill so we feel like we are progressing!....
