I really enjoy this game but the biggest let down for me was the size of it , really after playing through all there is to do is grind exotic bounties daily challenges/ bounties, repeat the same small selection of strikes, upgrade factions, farm materials for weapon/armor upgrades and vog. If the game were bigger and included other planets/strikes/story this would be fine. My main concern is that expansions to the destiny world won't be released quick enough or be big enough and so people on your friends list will lose interest and the numbers of people playing will drop, the start of the game is the most enjoyable part of it, it's more important for the content to be there while the game is fresh and people are loving it than released later when people have moved on to other things.
