Once again I found myself surrounded by a field of red and white, and I felt as if I was gaining in skill. While I walked through the bodies back to my ship so I could return to the Tower to collect my Bounty's reward, I noticed something. Something I doubt many others had noticed. They had all seen it. They just never gave a thought to it. Because it would break their hearts. There, among the hordes of headless bodies that formed a red and white sea at my feet, lay a child. A Fallen child. And she was laying next to two bodies of which I can only assume to have been her parents. The two Fallen bodies touched at the hands with one set of arms, reaching for their child with their others. And I couldn't do more than stand there, speechless, as cold tears hit the ground between them. This is my fault, I thought, I am responsible for this. What cause could be so great to be worth this child's future? The child looked up at me, her face tear-stained though it had only been minutes since her parents' deaths, and she rushed for her mother's gun. She was quick to learn how it worked, and took aim at the empty figure in front of her. But she could not bring herself to pull the trigger. With an echoing clatter that shattered the deafening silence, she dropped it and ran to me, clinging to my cold, metal skin. I looked down at her as she cried into my robes and I didn't know what to do. So we stood there. For seven nights. Finally, she whispered to me that she was hungry. I nodded, understanding that what I had done had made her my responsibility now. And we silently walked off towards the twilight.
So that was the first fan-fiction I created ever. I don't know why I wrote it. It was originally focussing on my observation of the Fallen bodies holding their chests and how seeing them that way makes them appear much less evil and reveals that they too are like us, fearing and fighting for their lives.
EDIT: This is a rough draft and does not need criticism. I appreciate any positive feedback. Thank you for reading!

as the Fallen child rushed towards this homicidal maniac, a snipers shot rang out....and the child fell dead at his feet. Yes! Another headshot for that bounty.

Here's how I see it. If an 8 year old ISIS member had an ak-47 barrel staring at me while I had my m4 I would have no choice but to shoot. Either him or me.
-
Post more please? Also, you should make a # for it.

How do you shoot women and children?
easy you just don't lead them as much!
Who cares. All the aliens invaded human territory lol

I came home from work and my cat had shat on my carpet. It looked up at me with a sense of guilt and fear. The feline approached me cautiously and brushed against my legs. I felt angry about the mess but then as Tootsy gave out a shallow meow - a wave of guilt washed over my sexy body. Was this my fault for leaving the cat home alone all day? I walked with determination to the cat litter. The cat litter was empty. Guilt was replaced by rage. I opened the door and kicked the cat out into the rain. I then slowly walked towards the sofa and watched TV.

''I took the child to the spawn point of other Fallen mobs, there I waited for the perfect fusionrifle shot. Slowly but surely my bounty progressed.''

Edited by MAJORUST: 10/8/2014 2:18:27 PMQueen: You're sure you don't want to kill this Fallen? Ps; Great story, it's nice to see some emotions from the Fallen's perspective.

this is really good.
What cause could be so great to be worth this child's future?
Well since the child's future is to one day become a mindless bullet sponge, I wouldn't fret too much. ; )
-
So they just stood there for seven nights? Lmao.

The reason the little girl didnt die was because she was OP. You should of NERFd her in the face

I love Destiny! It's I shooter I that I left Call Of Dury for and I'm happy of my decision. Destiny is something new for me and alot of other players out there. COD was getting really old now but Destiny is what you would call a "Fresh Start." Ok Destiny has alot of its good qualities and not so good qualities but give it some time people, like ssriously the game is about a month old now and there's alot to be considered on how long the game will leave its struggle pattern. Eventually I hope to see Destiny filled with content that will captivate me. ~ Why rain pain on a game that that Bungie is trying to put in the right lane but yet some people stay playing anyway? some of ya'll haters complaints are irrelevant the things you be hating on come out not rather intelligent, haters stay on this nonsense. When they get logic brought to them they want to stop it and drop it. - Have faith in Destiny

Sacrifice the child to the RNG Gods!!!
