The Anti-Social that is Destiny - Need Matchmaking instead of Fireteam Only
I get it, you want people to work hard for special items in this game.
I get it you want people to form a clan and do runs with clan members.
What I don't get is, why do I feel so penalized playing this game by myself?
As of now I can see where this game is going, it's all Fireteam based.
Why are your 'Limited Time Access' events only for Fireteams?
Unfortunately friends don't all have the same schedules so it's impossible to arrange playing times accordingly.
So why are the Weekly, Daily, and everything on the left hand side of the navigation map only for Fireteams?
I'm sorry, I'm not going to be playing Matchmaking Vanguard Strikes forever, it's unacceptable to have the 'Limited Time' events set to Fireteams only. I have tried them alone, but unfortunately I don't want to spend that much time dying and learning a lesson on how I should have attacked differently.
Hopefully Bungie, as a company that looks to the future, you can see the error in this.

Here are more people talking about the same thing. There is no reason to not have these Daily Missions, Daily Strikes, and Special Events setup for Matchmaking.

4 RepliesI myself enjoy playing this game alone, i take the lone wolf hunter style to heart, but I do wish the raid and high level strikes had matchmaking that way I could attempt some social stuff. I really feel like randoms coming together and actually beating the vault of glass and become friends through the experience would be way more fulfilling than playing with friends you already had. Ever notice when a daily drops everybody swarms in and bonds together to beat it and then goes there seperate ways...I feel like that is a mechanic that needs to be built up. I have a total of 2 people on my friend list and I dont add random people unless I can talk to them for a bit and get a feel for how we'd play together. I will disagree completely on the Queens Wrath kill missions...as a level 26 hunter you are completely capable of finishing them solo. I have finished every one solo and I started at level 25. It might be slightly more difficult with a non legendary primary but still doable. I find myself cheesing alot of enemies and bosses and running away all the time. But if you use the mission modifiers to your advantage you will win. I beat the last black garden statue with just a void pulse rifle. Give them a try and play carefully and youll see they arent that bad.
