Back when Mass Effect 3 launched, the ending was a complete disaster. It was confusing and left too many questions unanswered, especially for the end game of a trilogy. Honestly, that paled in comparison to this. There is no story, grimoir cards are truly a horrid idea, and after completing the final mission, we still have NO CLUE what is going on. No rasputin AI, no Darkness, No interaction with the traveler, factions exist for no reason, there is literally only the bones of a story. In the end of the ME3 disaster, EA released a FREE Directors Cut update that wrapped up some of the mysteries.
The point is, dont stop being mad about the story. Do not give up. Despite this games many faults, all of which will likely be repaired, it is a good game and has potential to be truly great. Keeping that in mind, the story is a huge issue that needs to be adressed. Im not demanding a fix now, just some info on what/if anything is going to be done about it.
Maybe further story will be unvieled in free updates (Im not spending another penny to get the story that should be in the 60$ game I bought). If so, let us know. Dont be like Rockstar with total media blackout and rampant speculation. We need to know the STORY is still going on, or if I am to expect that this is all I get for my 60$ purchase. The game was worth it, the story was not. All I am really saying is, WTF is going on in this game?! (I'm not reading grimoir unless its IN GAME)
