You destoyed a what could have been a VERY GOOD GAME
They RUIN game franchises just so they can get a few more bucks.
The IDIOTS don't realise that a well made game will bring them MUCH more money in the years to come (sequels/prequels/DLC) if the game is good from the start.
Destiny could had been SO BIG !! I mean Star Wars scale.
But nooooooo...why the -blam!- should they make history when they can just RUIN a game and split its story in DLC's ?!?!?!?!?!?
I have my legs/exotics...there is nothing for me to do in this game... I do daily/weekly/nightfall in the next 2 hours after the reset. I didn't even enjoy a good story because what Activision has done.

Now that i am more calm, I NEVER said i hate the game. I like it VERY much. That doesn't make me blind. I just hate knowing that the game(and we all know it) could have been SO MUCH BIGGER. Knowing that they cut out so much content and we will never get it back. Knowing that EACH covenant ( New Monarchy, Future War Cult etc) had ITS OWEN story behing. Their owen quests. You had to represent them in PVP...complete missions for them etc etc. Why do you think they all sell stuff for crucible marks ?! Now they only sell items :)

1 ReplyHonestly, any complaints you have sold be viewed as void. You have almost 200 hours played. In less than a month? You know how good the game is. Keep enjoying it. Moderate your time a little better you won't get burnt out.

What's hear in the game is fine, it's just what's missing. Sure people are frustrated and everything but we all still play. Why? Because honestly, the gameplay is solid and the community is great, I've met slit of nice people on the site I play with frequently.

I think there's a lot more to this than them being greedy bastards, from what I've read they ran into a lot of problems and rushed the game. Hopefully dlcs/patches will fix this game into what it was advertised as.

7 RepliesWell sir this is not your type of game. Yes ! This is your opinion but I still enjoy playing with friends and the weeklys/dailys. I do agree that the story was vauge for the most part but it's a great game you just are not that into it.

I brought it on the 2nd day and returned it on the 3rd day. I hated it. I got it about 2 weeks later and gave it another go. I'm now level 20 and taking it back today. For me its the LOUD MUSIC!!! It drowns out everything so I cant hear footsteps, gunshots, voice chat, ANYTHING BUT MUSIC. I'll watch gaming sites for what the next updates bring and when they finally give it a music off option then I will get it a 3rd time, but till then its not for me. There are other better games out and coming out so no loss. And I HATE the fact all the DLC is already on the disc. SO I buy the game and have to pay AGAIN to play what I already own? F! U!

Don't buy an activision game. Make a point to never ever offer it. Get a retail job that sells video games and make it a point to never recommend a a game and give them a half baked reason (like teh half baked release of Destiny). It's only fair and fitting. Otherwise, activision doesn't give a flying -blam!-, they got your money.
