This game costs about as much as it does to go out for one night
And almost every single one of you are complaining so bad like they robbed you millions of dollars. If you have played this game more than 2 days total play time....you have more than got your money's worth. If you had fun with this game for two weeks, you once again got your money's worth. If you go to the bar, or the movies, or on a date you will spend more than 60 dollars unless you are the cheapest person on the planet.
Please stop complaining, you all are ridiculous.
EDIT: I really didn't think this thread would take off like this. Thank you for all that contributed and I do hope you all have a great day. Destiny filled or not. Peace and love friends.

EDIT: Final edit, if you do feel this game wasn't worth your money than simply stop playing. It's a simple solution. If you feel like you were lied to or you feel unfufilled then I am sorry, but just don't play and you can fill the empty void with something positive you enjoy.

This game for the past 3 weeks has saved me a shit ton of money payed for it self this weekend, because I would have been partying all week if I didn't have it... Edit: to all the doubters and haters look your self in the mirror and realize you responded negatively to my post because you are in fact.... jelly, because I meant to offend nobody in this post yet I offended many.. I was just stating facts its not my fault that I make more money then you its your fault be mad at your self's and leave me alone

3 RepliesShoddy comparison, i've had cheaper/more expensive nights out than this game cost but they are a whole lot more memorable & the night out is something that'll stick in my memory. When i do eventually move on from destiny (when i decide which next gen console i want) then this game wont be remembered for anything except time wasted & bungie's reputation going into the shitter.

Great point guardian, you sold it with the first paragraph. Hell even blu rays can be 20-30 dollars, and it's just a movie, compared to an experience with friends and the grind to receive gear or weapons that you want. People are entitled to there opinions of coarse but a lot of it on here is just complaints about ridiculous things. Great post.

I spend about as much money on breakfast cereall in a month as I did on Destiny. Cost of games hasn't bothered my since I got my first job. I bought a subscription game last month for £40, played the first 'free' month and didn't renew. I have no intention of every playing the game again and I can't without starting a sub. I knew this before I bought it and figured if I played it for at least 10 days I was happy with £4 a day for the reward I got from it. The reward being stress relief from a high pressure job. I've poured maybe 2x-3x more effort into Destiny and it doesn't even need a sub. win.

3 Repliesmy wife was telling me how much I spend on gaming so I did the math for her and it turned out to be about 50 cents a day. she was all better when I asked her to stop buying her coffee from Starbucks because she was spending 2-3 time more than I was.

5 RepliesAs a married man I can tell you $60 is far less than the cost of a date night with my wife. Casual dinner: $30 Two movie tickets: $30 Popcorn and a soda: $10 Babysitter for the two babies: $40 So yeah I've definitely got my money's worth out of this game after a few weeks of casual play.

I think everyone is just upset with all of the hype and the story... I am disappointing too... but I am not ignorant enough to think I want my money back, lol. I do think bungie needs to finish the story though, without making everyone pay an arm and a leg for it.

They're about $2 and you can play hundreds of games with them, some solo, some multiplayer. That's a lifetime of fun for $2. See how that works? Destiny is a product, sold, and its shortcomings aren't simply acceptable because a movie ticket is like $12 and a movie is only like two hours tops. That's not a valid defense.
