lost ammo when switching weapons
I pick up ammo for spare weapons but when I switch from one weapon to another during a mission the ammo disappears.

This should not be happening when simply pressing Y to switch to your example "shotgun" but the only weapon you can switch without losing ammo is your primary. Secondary and heavy tend to lose some in the process. In the crucible it's the same but you lose all ammo and not some
