Other things I'd like to see make it into destiny...

There has been much outcry for a lot of the same things needed to be added to Destiny like a more fulfilling story, more strikes, more raids, more planets, better options for player interaction, etc. Yet there isn't much talk about making the item pool more robust. After the 72+ hours I've put into Destiny it's become very painfully obvious to me that there wasn't nearly enough time put into armor/weapon variety. Especially at the highest levels. Not only does a great deal of it look the same (aside from the exotics), most if not all the Legendaries are items you can get through the vendors!! Whats the point of loot hunting in patrols, strikes, crucible or nightwatch if you're going to be rewarded with vendor gear? Also all this gear has baseline stats, meaning if it's a legendary it's no better than any of the other items regardless of the name on it unless it's raid gear. (Also the perks differ but thats about it) It'd be nice if there was gear that had a higher defense than others, maybe at the sacrifice of a lower stat but at least then there would be some variety to the items! You'd actually then think more about the item you want to keep or break down for materials. Beyond that, add more weapons! Shouldn't be difficult, if you need ideas dig up an ex gearbox employee to help you there. They know gun variety. And what the hell is up with the lady that sells the shaders? She seems to only know how to create 4 of them! All those paint cans in those crates next to her and she only knows how to mix em together to create 4 measly shaders?! Come on bungie. The loot table is very small in this game for the end gamer. You quoted the game just starts at level 20, put the items and content in to support that.
