4 Reasons Why You Probably Hate Destiny

1. You're butthurt because your legendaries turn into rares :) You probably only get mad at this if you farm because you force yourself to replay boring areas until you get loot. Then, you go to the Cryptarch and you don't get what you want. Here's my solution to your problem; play the game normally. Do all the bounties and you'll get Crucible/Vanguard Marks to buy legendaries. While you kill enemies/clear missions you'll unexpectedly find loot of your own and it'll be even better because everyone likes surprises. 2. You're an ignorant COD Player. Don't get me wrong here. I TryHard in COD and put just as much time in as I do with Destiny (Max Level/Prestige). But I put "Ignorant" before that because you're the kind of person who thinks COD is the best game ever and will not accept any other opinions about different games. So your role in the community doesn't matter and when COD: Advanced Warfare turns out to be crap, you'll be back playing Destiny but you won't be prepared for the smack down I'll be giving you in the Crucible :). 3. Lack Of Story- This is the only option I'll accept but isn't a reason to hate the game. Buying DLC will complete the story and add much more into the game. I know what you're thinking. "B-b-but Bungie and Activsion cut up the story on purpose just to make more money. They made us pay $60 for a demo." I agree the story didn't seem there but when you do your research you'll find the grimoire cards. They allowed you to choose how you play the story. Either go through it quickly with no point just for xp or shoot with purpose by learning the background of the Universe. 4. You just suck at it. By this, I don't mean your skill level is bad (even though it could be). I'm saying you can't comprehend the uniqueness of Destiny. Bringing different fanbases from COD to Halo to Borderlands to Mass Effect or any game with similar values in one game. We need to adapt to each other to understand the point. I know I've been seeing more hate posts on this game than others but it's because the people who actually like this game are either playing it or is too mature to argue with a close minded person. But as you can see from this post: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/70858573/0/0 most of us like this game. No ones forcing you to play it. I know this is toward a small fraction of the Destiny community but I'm tired of seeing the hate posts when I'm trying to look for actual information.

  • Loool this might be the most inaccurate post on the game. I dont like destiny for about 20 reasons that have nothing to do with anything you said. Ill give you some random examples. *** having the same shaders at the vendor since release. *** every sparrow looking the same except colour. No major style variations. *** being part of the awoken race and the queen not responding to me differently to a human or exo. *** not having any incentive to work for the factions. *** being able to dance and theres no dancefloor I could go on and on and on with reasons you havent stated and making your thread null and void
