Queen's Wrath Math - What do you think happened.
So lets assume every bounty every day was possible. Lets assume they're at a 75 average as every queen bounty I've seen has been 50 to 100. That gives us 450 rep per day. So.
Day 1 - 450/1000
Day 2 - 900/1000
Day 3 - Turn in one bounty to hit rank 1 (assuming theres at least 1 100). The remaining 350 is multiplited by 1.2 1 to become 423.5. So we have 423.5/3000
Day 4 - 968/3000
Day 5 - 1512.5/3000
Day 6 - 2057/3000
Day 7 - 2601.5/3000
Day 8 - Turn in 400 points of bounty to hit 3000. Leaving you at 1.5/5000 with one 50 bounty to turn in, but you get a new item.
50*1.331 = 66.55 + 1.5 = 67.05/5000
Day 9 - 450 * 1.331 = 598.95 -> 666/5000
Day 10 - 1264.95/5000
Day 11 - 1863.9/5000
Day 12 - 2462.85/5000
Day 13 - 3061.8/5000
Day 14 - 3660.7/5000
So even with every bounty completable (by this logic) it would have been impossible. I haven't payed attention every single day so I don't know the actual number spread of bounties. I know one day I had 525 rep worth of bounties but I havent really payed attention every day. I was just going by averages here.
If every bounty had been worth 100, it would have still taken until day 13 to hit rank 3 (granted you would only need to do 1 bounty that day.)(Didn't feel like wasting the page with every day again)
If there were 525 points every day, you'd need to do every single bounty to hit rank 3. (which is of course impossible because of the shader/item/emblem bounties.)(Ditto to above)
Also not quite sure the decimals work like that for rep but whatevs.
So either they screwed up, or this event will indeed show up more than once.

Also dunno if it actually is 5000 for rank 3 as I have yet to have anyone confirm it, its just what I've read
Edit: I just turned in 100 point bounties with the helmet on and they gave 181 rep o.o
Will test with the pvp ones later.
Edit2: - Well my buddy just turned in a 50 point one with just the shader and emblem on, and got 181. Then got 90 rep for an 100 point one. So I dunno what the hell is going on.
Edit3: - So I think they changed the values of bounties without changing what it shows us. So the 181 are 150 ones multiplied by 1.21. And the 90 point one was a 75 point one. So maybe they are paying attention.

It takes 3000 to hit rank 3 for the Queen. I'm currently on rank 2. About halfway through it, maybe? It's 1) 1500, 2) 3000, 3) 3000 so far. Don't know any further than that.

2 RepliesEdited by Elite1111111111: 10/1/2014 2:42:43 PMWith the current 1.5 rep boost that as far as I can tell seems to be staying, you should be able to hit rank 3 with over a day to spare if you've been doing every possible bounty. I've missed about 4 not including the impossible ones and according to my calculations I should hit 3 on the last day and won't need every bounty that day. At rank 3 you'll be getting over 1000 rep a day with the current 1.5 rep boost and the 1.331 boost from items.

You missed the part where equipping an Emblem or Class Item gives you a buff to Queen's Rep.

This was pretty much a worthless event. The rewards were totally not worth our time to do the missions/bounties.

Edited by aboniks: 10/2/2014 7:30:38 PMThis event doesn't seem to have been very well planned. :( Hopefully the next round will be better, and offer some rewards that are not either yet-another-purple-piece-of-cosmetic-fluff, or fundamentally outclassed by the random drops you'll likely get in the middle of completing the first bounty. Kill orders sent you into parts of the story line without checking to see if you had even gotten that far in the game yet. I hadn't even been to Mars yet, "What's a black garden? Solo epic, sure! Cool mission, that was hard! Wait...what?" Thanks for spoiling the story, Bungie. The helmet and the sniper rifle are great, but required only one kill order to get them (RNG luck, for the rifle, I know). I'd have bought the class item (which does what?) if it wasn't locked away behind rank two and days of rep grinding. For completionists, (or people who just didn't already have enough brown jump ships or purple-colored shaders and armor) I suppose this event has some charm, but for people who are in it to get usable loot, or some more lore, or that sick ship the emissary has, there's very little point in ranking up. We dismantle more blue weapons before breakfast than most emissaries sell all day. At least let us do the QW bounties with our own faction class items equipped, and put that rep to good use buying gear we actually need/want. Or let us buy the class item at rank 0 and apply normal rep gains to the Queen, like any other faction. Disappointing. (Not crying, I love the bones of this game, but some of the meat is a little off.)

I didnt read the entire thing. But im just gonna add you should reach rank 3 if u get xp boost from nightfall. Just a blind comment.

I think if you stand close to someone who has finished the nightfall strike (flashing head) you get the same bonus as them. Same happened when I was at the cryptarch.

Coulda sworn I added a comment but it seems like the rank2 to rank3 is 3000 so I dunno if people were just making stuff up before or what.

5 RepliesIt's going to return. It pretty obvious. It's like iron banner in that it will be around for a bit then leave. Hopefully they add different rewards and the rest of her armor set next time.

2 RepliesWell, for one the advertised increase in Favor after hitting Rank 1 (10%) isn't even in the game (unless it's tied to the Rank 1 cosmetic items, which would be weird since those are anything BUT your class items). I turned in a 100 Favor bounty today and went from 250/3000 to 350. This increases the average needed Favor per day to 285 (effectively 300) to reach Rank 2 by the end of the event and makes Rank 3 completely unattainable since you'd need over 600 Favor per day. I'd say options 1 and 2 of your poll are both correct, Queen's Wrath probably is meant to occur on some sort of schedule but the bounties still award way too little Favor. The Vendor rewards are just too bad for the amount of effort needed to unlock them.

1 ReplyYou also left out another factor, for most of that time there were days with 1-3 bounties that couldn't even be done at all. They required the shader, the class item and the emblem, which was impossible to get until rank 2. So until you hit rank 2 with the consistency of getting 1-3 bounties like that a day you have to also take those into account....

My buddy could have been wrong about the 50 one being 181 so we have a few options. 1. They've just changed around how much each bounty is worth but it doesn't show us. or 2. We're getting 1.5 times each bounty (before the shader and emblem, if my friend read his bounty wrong.) I have to do the pvp ones still so I'll let you know if I learn anything later.
